I already have my tickets and am steeling myself for an afternoon of exquisite discomfort sucking back various excruciatingly savage and possibly life-threatening sauces and salsas. Did I mention that I won last year's raffle for a basketful of sauces from The Capsaicin Cartel? Yeah, I did that.
And I'm looking forward to see what Ottawa's Haico Krijgsman has invented since:
Yeah, it should be fun. Until about 24 hours later. Possibly less.

May I ask what your personal favourite food for hot sauce is, CC?
For me it's anything deep fried and "dippable"; I usually add hot sauce to aioli sauce, ranch or mayonnaise.
Ironically, tonight is Taco Tuesday here at CC HQ, when I am quite liberal with the hot sauces. Tonight is special, the taco foundation being a couple bison medallions sliced up. So I'm all up for hot sauces on tacos, and any egg-based dishes (omelettes, fritatta, etc.).
You can never have too much hot sauce. Well, OK, you can.
Sounds delish! I need to get my hands on some bison here soon.
Bison hotdog-smokie with a slice of bacon, friend onions/'shrooms, steak-fried (in butter & with steak spice/black pepper) and some hot-sauce infused mayo. Top it off with two slices off cheddar from a brick of Cracker Barrel: Old.
That's what I'd be doing if I were in your shoes today. I just made a fried bacon/egg sandwich with fries. On the fries, I use Franks Red (weak hot sauce, I am aware) & taco seasoning, with a light drizzle of ranch. Very tasty.
