Dear journos: Please ask TUPOC the following simple question.

Even though it's increasingly obvious that showing up to the daily "press conferences" of The United People of Canada is a waste of time, if you have the tenacity to head out there yet again, here's a suggestion for a really, really simple question you can ask TUPOC directors between now and Thursday:

"Do you intend to continue to occupy St. Brigid's past the eviction deadline of 12:01 a.m. Thursday?"

Note how, in an ideal world, that is a yes-or-no question; you're not asking for any elaboration or rationale or legal analysis. Naturally, someone as addled as TUPOC director Diane Nolan will undoubtedly start whinging on about invalid or unlawful notices, and defamatory libel, and Elisha and bears and heart and whatever the hell, but the trick is to cut her off and ask the question again, and don't be filibustered.

Again, note how this question should be answered with either "yes" or "no"; heck, even "We're not sure" is a valid answer. But at least take a shot at asking something that simple, and see what comes back.

If the question is phrased as requiring a number, then the follow up questions are "what is the number?"
How many minutes do you intend to be in St. Brigids after 12:01 on Thursday?

-do not say "occupy" they will go on a tangent.
Then as they dissemble: "What is the number? How many minutes?"

I'm not sure I'd go down that road, too much wiggle room. On the other hand, here's another direct and unambiguous question: "Is it your position that the eviction notice is somehow invalid and unenforceable?" Again, you're not asking for comprehensive legal analysis; you just want to know if TUPOC does not think the eviction notice is legal -- yes or no.

Simplicity, kids ... that's the ticket.

Have agreed to pay to return this heritage building to its original appearance?

Yes-or-no question will be answered by the wishy-washy "It is our understanding"....

TUPOC are basically part of Klown Konvoy. Journos are only starting to point that out.

Considering that they seem to have already declared de facto “ownership by possession” of the building, I’d say they’re going to try.

Frankly, I think the Bailiff and the police should wander down there with a couple of paddy wagons, and the tactical team. Set a few officers by each exit, and send in the tactical team to chase the remaining idiots out, one at a time.

Nolan states she is the single mother to five sons. She seems to spend inordinate amounts of time at St Brigids where she waffles between babbling US fundy biblical nonsense, personal mental health issues, sovcit/free-man-of-the-land garbage, mixed with trucker love, anti-liberal everything, and vaccine questioning/denial/hesitancy.
Who's taking care of the five kids while she dabbles in deities? She's clearly unwell.

She now thinks she has children?
