Dinesh, meet Brian Sicknick's family.

Normally, I am absolutely and unequivocally opposed to "doxxing," but if someone wants to send Brian Sicknick's family Dinesh's home address, that would be most fucking excellent.

I'm not sure it gets any more accurate than this.

Other than the "elected" part, remind you of any unabashed grifter you know?

In totally unrelated news, I'll have a piece on Sheila Gunn Reid up sometime this weekend.

Could Ezra Levant be any more misleading or disingenuous? Answer: No.

Numerous people have opined that, when your entire business model is based on rage and angering your audience, you can't just offer up the same level of rage day after day; no, rage is a drug and, after a while, you get used to it, so it's necessary to keep increasing the rage factor to keep the grift going. Simply put, in order to keep your audience, you need to continue cranking up the rage factor relentlessly; every article, every video, every email has to turn the screws a bit more. And when it comes to reporting on the same story month after month, well, every time you report, you need to embellish a bit more, you need to exaggerate a bit more, or you need to just invent new aspects of the story that weren't there before.

So here's Ezra, reporting on the ubiquitous "Pastor Artur," whose story grows in the telling every time Ezra tells it, and by way of cranking up that rage factor, here's Ezra's latest embellishment:

Good Lord ... prosecutors are demanding that Pastor Artur "renounce his faith?" Really?

Of course not. Don't be stupid.

Absolutely no one is insisting that Pastor Artur turn his back on Christianity, or whatever obscene, bastardized version of it he preaches, but we need more rage, so suddenly -- out of absolutely nowhere -- here's Ezra tossing out a rather significant claim that, oddly, he's never felt the need to mention before.

How curious.

What's amusing is that this is not the first time Ezra has used precisely that wild fabrication, as your humble scribe documented in some detail well over a decade ago.

It is amusing, is it not, how Ezra can't even come up with original material. What is just as amusing is, if you read the comments on that recent article where Ezra makes that claim, not one commenter -- not a single one -- has the intellectual capacity to say, "Um, I don't remember that part. Are you sure about that?"

That's because they're all too busy being outraged. That's how it works.

Why "Power & Politics" is so fucking awful.

Katie Simpson: "Minister, here's a question."

Minister: *speaks for 17 straight minutes, apparently without needing to inhale once, while saying nothing*.

Simpson: "Thank you, Minister."

JUXTAPOSE!

Self-proclaimed "Outlaw Tory" will now demean and denigrate numerous dedicated professionals who graduated from medical school and are busy saving lives and, most importantly, probably did not get convicted of malicious defamation, declare personal bankruptcy, commit criminal identity fraud or possibly collude with others to commit bankruptcy fraud.

But, sure, it's the doctors and nurses who are the problem here.

The travails of Twatrick.

One would think undischarged bankrupt and currently unemployed Patrick Ross of Lloydminster would have enough on his plate, what with owing me $112K pursuant to my 2010 judgment against him for malicious defamation plus various cost awards he's refused to pay, not to mention how it appears that he and his family are playing games with farmland ownership specifically to conceal Patrick's inherited assets from me. One would think that that would be enough for Patrick to be dealing with without going out looking for more trouble.

One would be wrong.

All one needs to do is read the following thread to understand how Patrick, currently at the bottom of a very deep hole, has chosen to keep digging.

You can't fix stupid.

JUXTAPOSE!

Alberta: "Even as COVID-19 cases rise, it's time to ditch all this counting and testing and recording and mask-wearing, because we're Alberta and we're all about rootin'-tootin' freedom and liberty and no one can tell us what to do!"

Also Alberta: "All these people dying is clearly Trudeau's fault."

JUXTAPOSE!

Canadian conservatives: "Vaccines are totally unproven, they were rushed out and might kill you, and we refuse to take them and the fascist government wants to force them on us, and that's just like Hitler, isn't it?"

Also Canadian conservatives: "Man, Trudeau has done a shitty job rolling out vaccines."

I can see why Ezra is no longer a lawyer.

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this latest idiocy from Rebel News Obergruppenfuhrer Ezra Levant:

If I read that correctly (and I'm pretty sure I do), Ezra's argument is that, since lockdown regulations no longer apply now, the court has no basis to punish Pastor Artur for his breaking lockdown regulations when they were clearly in effect and being enforced before.

Please tell me this is the argument Pastor Art's idiot lawyers are actually trying in court. And please tell me there are transcripts.

Jesus fucking Christ, the burning stupid.

If Marco Rubio was any more of an imbecile, he'd be Sheila Gunn Reid.

Huh. I had no idea.

Because if the province of Alberta is famous for anything, it's oil wells, pickup trucks and its relentless, seething hatred of Jesus and Christianity.

I'll bet you didn't know that.

Admit that you're a racist without admitting you're a racist.

Law & Order: Stupid Criminals Unit

"In the criminal justice system, there are stupid lawbreakers, really stupid lawbreakers, and then there's Lloydminster's village idiot Patrick 'Lord Baron Twatrick von Loadenhosen' Ross, who has -- even in the midst of being a university dropout, convicted malicious defamer and undischarged bankrupt living at home at the age of 40 -- managed to outdo himself."

"This is his story."

It appears that the Twatster (even as he currently owes me $112K+ pursuant to a judgment for malicious defamation, and whose family has quietly signed over Patrick's ownership of a substantial chunk of valuable Saskatchewan farmland he inherited from his grandfather to a close family relative in order to conceal his assets from the collection authorities ... but I digress ... back to my story) is very well on the hook for substantial restitution charges related to a business owner that now has to change his business contact information and cards and letterhead because Patrick thought it would be a total hoot to impersonate said business owner and spend several hours putting said business owner's name and professional contact info on dozens and dozens of spammers' mailing lists, to the point where this businessman has no choice but to reset all of his own business info at considerable expense to finally stop getting calls at all hours of the day and night.

The stupidity involved here is that Patrick did all this -- which would appear to constitute criminal acts of harassment and identity fraud -- from his own hotel room in Grande Prairie, so that all of that nefarious idiocy was trivially traceable back to him via recorded IP addresses, to the point where even Inspector Clouseau or David Menzies could have broken the case wide open, the end result being that said business owner is now preparing documentation to file a claim for financial restitution for aforementioned expenses, estimated to fall somewhere in the range of $9,000 to $17,000, which Patrick will most definitely have to pay without having bankruptcy as an option since he's already in bankruptcy and bankruptcy does not work recursively.

And there you have it.

PRODUCED BY DICK WOLF.

BONUS TRACK: Regular reader directs me to this, which certainly seems to describe the idea of surreptitiously transferring ownership of assets to conceal said assets from creditors:

I was going to suggest that no one could be that dumb and yet ... here we are.

IT GETS FUNNIER. Seriously, as hard to believe as it might be, it gets funnier. There is little question that Patrick Ross will have to pay restitution to cover the expenses of a business having to completely re-do all its contact information. And from what I am reading on the social media thread covering all this, if Patrick is not able to pay up, he will go to jail, at which point the government will cover the restitution, and reimburse itself by paying itself the $5.14 per day Patrick would normally have earned working it off behind bars. Do the math: Even if we estimate restitution costs at a conservative (pun intended) $10,000, it would take Patrick over five years to pay if off.

It's hard to believe that someone might go to jail for over five years over a debt of only several thousand dollars, and yet ... here we are.

It's painful to realize ...

... that ZZ Top's bassist Dusty Hill just passed away, but Rex Murphy is still with us.

There is no God.

JUXTAPOSE (Conservative-style)!

George Floyd allegedly passes a bad $20 bill: "Dumb bastard had it coming to him, being a low-life criminal like that, why should we give a shit about him, world's better off without a crook like him, he deserved to be suffocated until he died."

Trump-supporter Ashli Babbitt is shot while violently smashing her way into the U.S. Capitol to murder politicians: "What a patriot!"

"Fight the fines?" Eh ... not so much.

Here's Rebel News fake journalist and human trash can Sheila Gunn Reid pounding herself on the back for her humanitarian efforts in taking peoples' money and handing it over to lawyers:

"on behalf of the people"? I'm guessing that doesn't include Valerie Ann Foley, who Rebel News loudly and publicly pimped out as a sob story in order to separate the rubes from their rubles:

and then unceremoniously dumped as a client:

But, hey, keep those donations rolling in, kids!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Damn ... I think I just wet myself.

This would be deranged stalker, garbage human being and Rebel News "journalist" Drea Humphrey, mocking people who value their paycheque over any sense of morals, ethics or integrity:

No, seriously, she went there.

JUXTAPOSE!

Here's Rebel News' Ezra Levant, pissing blood and charitable tax receipts in outrage over the very thought that vaccinated and unvaccinated people should be treated differently:

And here's Rebel News' "Alberta Bureau Chief" and festering mound of garbage shaped like a human being Sheila Gunn Reid, oddly insisting there should be "societal consequences" for the unvaccinated if it's her squalling, worthless brats that might be at risk:

Perhaps Ezra and Sheila should hash this out first.

Tuesday, July 27, 2021

I called it. I totally fucking called it.

At 6:33 AM this morning, I wrote (among other things) this, about homophobic fascist and bigot "Pastor Artur" Pawlowski and Rebel News:

Well, just this minute, I received -- via Rebel's mailing list of which I am a member -- a plaintive screed from Ezra, professing indignation and outrage about Pastor Artur being possibly being sent back to jail for, you know, breaking the fucking law, in the midst of which is Ezra doing what Ezra does best:

"Please help us crowdfund the legal bills for Pastor Artur."

I totally called it.

You're welcome.

This is what dumbass fucking stupid looks like.

In case you weren't sure.

Signs of a Rebel News IPO? Hmmmmmmmmm ...

One of my regular deep sources draws my attention to a subtle but interesting development related to new hires at Ezra's House of Dumbth -- all of the new faces at his "Journalists" page, many of who are not actually journalists. And while I normally don't recommend you visit any of the pages over there since you might get some Rebel on your new shoes, it's fascinating how the masthead has suddenly been stacked with videographers and video journalists and a "head of video," some of who have certainly been there for a while so it's puzzling why they would suddenly merit an appearance on the Journalists page.

Deep source suggests this is simply in aid of beefing up the apparent size of Rebel News for the sake of looking bigger than they really are, so don't be surprised by the imminent appearance of Carlos the Stock Boy or Gladys the Lunch Lady there. Whatever it takes to seem more accomplished and influential than you actually are when you're looking for cash.

"Pastor Artur" going to jail? One can only hope.

Over at Rebel News media outlet and white hood emporium, in-house oil patch trailer trash Sheila Gunn Reid warned us a month ago:

If one were in a predicting mood, one would predict a couple of things. First, the fascist Pawlowski brothers are not going to win this, for the simple reason that they're guilty. That's guilty, guilty, guilty!

And second, despite being fully aware that their clients will be found guilty, Rebel's bloviating lawyers will feign shock and indignation, and immediately promise to fight this all the way to the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court, the United Nations and Starfleet Command, and it will be expensive so they desperately need $5.8 million dollars, preferably in unmarked bills in a paper bag that you can drop off with Ramon who will be waiting behind the 7-11 tonight -- just look for the jacked-up Dodge Charger with the bobblehead Jesus on the dash.

So, let's see how all this plays out, shall we?

BREAKING! Rebel's David Menzies' shocking piece on Rebel's David Menzies!

In a blockbuster article:

Rebel News' David Menzies brings us the latest developments regarding Rebel's David Menzies. In an exclusive for Rebel's David Menzies, David Menzies told David Menzies about how David Menzies was treated savagely and brutally by CPC staff.

When asked how he was holding up, David Menzies assured David Menzies that he was doing fine.

JUXTAPOSE!

Conservatives: "If you check out this video of David Menzies at the Melissa Lantsman rally, and you slow it down, and zoom in on the lower-left corner, then run it through a NewTek TriCaster 2 Elite while boosting the low-end spectrum and applying a phase-shifted Fourier transform to emphasize the delta-wave harmonics while reversing the polarity of the deflector dish, you can clearly see ..."

Also Conservatives: "Trump supporters? Looks like Antifa to me."

When you've lost Sue-Ann Levy, well ...

... what batshit crazy, racist, bigoted, goat-obsessed demographic are you going to appeal to?

Seriously, it's massively entertaining to watch the CPC finally clue in to what sort of mentally and psychologically diseased twonks they've been sucking up to all these years, as you can see the dangerously deluded Sue-Ann Levy going after Peter Kent regarding the recent David Menzies dust-up.

To no one's surprise, Sue-Ann plays the anti-Semitism card when someone simply tells her she's "gross." Ah, Sue-Ann, it's nice to see nothing's changed.

Monday, July 26, 2021

CBC's "Power & Politics" is such utter garbage.

Am I the only one who thinks that way?

Rebel News going public!

What in the name of Sheila Gunn Reid's John Deere-powered vibrator ...

A Rebel News IPO? Please, God, make that happen. I will never ask for anything else.

P.S. Does no one remember Rebel Media's disastrous investment/retirement fund? Are there actually non-retarded people prepared to pump their life savings into a probable Ponzi scheme run by Ezra Levant?

Fuck.

UM ... is it possible that Ezra doesn't realize that an IPO means he would have to open the books for Rebel News? And reveal where all that money's been going? Can he possibly be that clueless? Does he seriously think that no one is going to ask, "Uh ... $375,000 for Keurig coffee pods? That seems a bit excessive."

Yes, David Menzies is a homophobic asshole.

Man, I love me my commenters, since one of them just pointed me at the most delightful snippet of video. From earlier, CPC candidate Melissa Lantsman clearly accused Rebel News colostomy bag and man who wishes he was a real journalist David "The Menses" Menzies of, well, you can read it for yourself:

Almost immediately, there was a groundswell of skepticism regarding Lantsman's accusation since the carefully-edited snippet of video provided by Ezra Levant had quietly removed the relevant part.

Luckily for us, the important content was recorded and posted by none other than the CPC's Peter Kent, and can be viewed and heard here, where Menzies is clearly heard asking, "Is Melissa here based on merit or sexual orientation?", which absolutely syncs up with Lantsman's description above.

In short, Lantsman was accurate, Menzies is a homophobe, and Ezra Levant doctors videos.

Tell me you're shocked.

P.S. Did I mention I love my commenters?

Yes, David Menzies should be arrested for assault.

It's hard to believe but Rebel News' own released video of clownish buffoon David Menzies shows him clearly trespassing and assaulting others at a CPC rally. Follow along with the video here, where one can see at various times:

  • 0:19: Menzies shoves the man in the red shirt (assault)
  • 0:27: Menzies ducks under the yellow police tape to continue following the candidate (trespassing)
  • 0:33: Menzies is shoving the woman in the blue shirt (assault)
  • 0:38: Menzies shoves the man in the red shirt (assault)
  • 0:43: Menzies pushes the man in the dark blue shirt from behind with his recorder (assault)

And, remember, this is the video Ezra thinks exonerates David.

Jesus.

AFTERSNARK: I've been moderately reliably informed that what you see of David Menzies in that video snippet is exactly his standard behaviour -- abusive and confrontational, and assaulting people for the sole purpose of being ejected or arrested as the pretext of running a fundraiser.

I do not find that difficult to believe.

OH, THIS COMMENT, which I will elevate:

David's original shtick, going back a decade or so, was hanging out in shopping malls "testing his new camera" by prowling around getting shots of Muslim women. When they'd get fed up and accost him, sometimes blocking his shot, he'd insist that the mall cops charge them with assault, and when the cops laughed him off, he'd write a furious article about the "Islamification of Canada", etc, etc, etc.

For a few years he seemed to limit his cheap provocation to people he could easily bully - hotel clerks, admin. staff, security guards, cashiers. Same technique. He would barge into a place he wasn't authorized to be, bully his target until they responded with exasperation, then revert to wide eyed "I'm just doing my job" sweet innocence. The video segments always had three things in common:
  • they edited out all or most of his provocation
  • they NEVER addressed the substance of the "story" he claimed to be covering, but simply focused on his "mistreatment";
  • the intro was usually shot AFTER the story, carefully prepping the viewer with Dave's interpretation of events and providing pre-emptive explanations for elements of the "story" that didn't seem to fit Dave's narrative.
Hate, like any other addiction, requires stronger doses as the shock value wears off, and in the last two years of the Rebel's decline, Dave has been forced to up the ante, taking on cops, military personnel and more senior political figures, and making his physical aggression more and more blatant with every "story".

Well, that escalated quickly.

Dear Erica:

"Hi, this is Erica from the Conservative Party of Canada. Can the CPC count on your support in the next federal election?
Reply:
Yes
No

Dear Erica:

If by "support," you mean raising the CPC from the ground until someone slips the noose over its neck, then, yes, dear, count me in. I'm always happy to help.

Hugs and kisses,
CC

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

If Dinesh D'Souza were any more entertaining as a legal consultant, he'd be Aaron Rosenberg.

It's an inside joke. Don't think too hard about it.

Sunday, July 25, 2021

Yup, I called it. I'm that good.

At 2:16 PM, I predicted that Rebel News' David "The Menses" Menzies would be released after his "arrest," despite a hysterical fundraiser having been established to fight for said release:

Hardly more than an hour later, there it is:

Grifters gonna grift. It was always thus.

It's a day ending in 'y' so ...

Ezra: "David, we desperately need to run another fundraiser so get out there, make a complete ass of yourself and get arrested."

David: "On it, boss."

AND THERE IT IS ...

Tune in tomorrow when David is released without charges, but Rebel News is going to keep all that money, anyway.

A REMINDER: You might recall how Rebel News once before shrieked hysterically about David "The Menses" Menzies being "arrested," when that didn't actually happen. So let's all check back tomorrow to see how this ended.

Random screenshot Sunday!

A couple totally random screen grabs, published without any context of any kind:

Any attempt to draw any association between these two random pictures would be wholly inappropriate, so don't do it.

You can think about it, but don't do it.

JUXTAPOSE!

Every other media outlet on the planet: "Stunning revelations about Deutsche Bank and Justices Anthony Kennedy and Brett Kavanaugh involving corruption, billions of dollars and a stolen Supreme Court seat!"

Rebel News: "You won't believe this scoop about Hunter Biden's laptop!"

"We secretly replaced Paul Wells with a jar of Folger's Crystals ... let's see if anyone notices."

No shit, Sherlock.

What was your first clue?

Jesus Christ, I can't even ...

Here's ex-Rebeler Keean Bexte, mocking a Liberal candidate for an alleged Hitler moustache:

*Sigh* ...

Thursday, July 22, 2021

Here, let me explain it with an analogy.

Democrats: "We're forming a committee to investigate the horrific issue of sexual abuse on college campuses, and we invite the Republicans to nominate a slate of members for that committee."

Republicans: "We nominate Ohio congressman Jim Jordan."

Democrats: "Uh, no, we don't think so."

Republicans: "There go the Democrats, playing politics again."

JUXTAPOSE!

Republicans: "Nancy Pelosi's rejection of two members of the GOP from the January 6 commission represents a disgusting, appalling, sickening, unprecedented abuse of power, and is a fundamental threat to fairness and democracy, and to the very fabric of the space-time continuum itself!!!!"

Also Republicans: "So ... 10,000 people storming the Capitol and killing a cop? Geez, get over it already."

JUXTAPOSE!

40-year old university dropout and currently undischarged bankrupt who declared personal bankruptcy to escape the consequences of an $85,000 judgment against him for malicious defamation will now lecture others about the importance of consequences for bad behaviour:

You can't make this stuff up.

JUXTAPOSE!

Rebel News' Ezra Levant: "How dare CTV manipulate its coverage and determination to get to the truth by concealing critically important information about possible criminal behaviour!?!?"

Also Ezra Levant: "John Carpay? Never heard of him."

Wednesday, July 21, 2021

JUXTAPOSE!

Conservatives: "It's completely within the rights of a business like a bakery to discriminate against people like gays, or anyone else, for any reason whatsoever. Businesses should have the absolute right to dictate who they choose to serve."

Also conservatives: "When it comes to asking customers if they've been vaccinated, how dare businesses think they can dictate who they choose to serve!"

OK, then.

JUXTAPOSE!

Canadian conservatives: "Justine Turdeau is so incompetent; he can't even properly manage dealing with a massive, global, deadly pandemic perfectly; what a total loser. Talk about in over his head, amirite?"

Also Canadian conservatives: "Well, of course Stephen Harper's son Ben is qualified to be paid $118,000 per year as an 'advisor' to Jason Kenney. After all, he's taken some courses."

Tuesday, July 20, 2021

JUXTAPOSE!

40-year-old university dropout and trustee-less undischarged bankrupt who lives at home and owes me $112,000 pursuant to an undefended action for malicious defamation will now take pleasure in the misfortune of others:

Karma. Mirror. Yeah, that's about right.

JUXTAPOSE!

Rebel News: "Fuck pandemic regulations ... get out there and gather in large groups unmasked to make sure we can spread the virus as widely as possible, maximizing the number of people that get sick or die, the logical consequence of which will be -- of course -- more and longer lockdowns."

Also Rebel News: "Holy shit, these lockdowns are expensive ... if only there was some way of preventing them."

When the lawyers get involved.

Wow ... someone's corporate lawyers just tore Sean Hannity about eight new kinds of asshole and told him to stop being such a class action lawsuit magnet:

Monday, July 19, 2021

The dumbass fucking stupid.

It's difficult to describe the level of dumbshit retardedness in this tweet:

Seriously, how exactly do you properly mock the unrelenting fucking stupidity there? Sometimes, there are truly no words.

JUXTAPOSE!

In defending 24-year-old Ben Harper's $671,000 annual salary as an advisor to Jason Kenney, supporters cream themselves over his post-secondary education:

Christine Myatt, a spokesperson for the Office of the Premier, says he was hired "based on his professional credentials."

"He holds both a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University, and is pursuing his Masters of Economics from Columbia University - one of the world’s premier institutes of higher learning," she wrote in a statement to CTV News.

"Mr. Harper’s education and background in economics is an asset as we work to implement the Alberta Recovery Plan and get our province back on track."

In denigrating Justin Trudeau, the very same people point to Trudeau's bachelor of arts degree in literature from McGill University and bachelor of education degree from the University of British Columbia, and sniff:

"He's just a drama teacher and snowboard instructor."

See how that works?

Dear JCCF: Let's talk about governance, shall we?

Commenter from earlier this morning nails it:

There's an even deeper and more delicious irony at work.

Consider the JCCF's panicked claim that this was "a unilateral decision made by one person in the organization".

So within this advocacy group for more transparency, more accountability, and better adherence to the spirit of law, a guy, without consulting anyone at all, can conceive an unethical, distasteful and probably illegal plan to stalk and spy on judges and senior officials he may want to embarrass; can select a contractor, enter into a contract, sign cheques and authorize expenses for the project, without ANYONE'S knowledge or approval?

Apart from the sleaziness of the entire operation - what an extraordinarily lax and sloppy governance, administrative and finance management framework these guardians of our freedom operate under.

Yup.

Ex-Rebeler Katie Hopkins: Still as much of a douchebag as ever.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

So, yeah, the week is starting out well.

The Winnipeg Free Press disembowels the JCCF.

Good piece in the Wpg Free Press regarding the sleaze shop that is the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, and while it has numerous absolute nuggets, here's my favourite:

Um ... a decision made by "one person in the organization?" Lisa, dear, that "one person in the organization" was your fucking president!! We're not talking about Carlos who works in the stockroom, or Gladys the lunch lady; we're talking about the person who runs the whole goddamned place!

Jesus, where's my heart medication?

"The Democracy Fund": What fresh hell is this?

Here's Rebel News Obergruppenfuhrer and Canadian charity tax specialist Ezra Levant, giving a shout-out to the CRA-approved charity "The Democracy Fund" that is currently laundering ^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H redirecting ^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H repurposing what would seem to be hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations to his "Fight the Fines" campaign:

despite what would appear to be clear and unambiguous CRA regulations that you can't do that:

In any event, given the overwhelming mystery of "The Democracy Fund" (whose web page explains precisely nothing about them), we do now note a teeny tiny "Jobs" link at the bottom and, sure enough, it would appear that, despite listing absolutely no previous or ongoing projects of any kind in its history of existence, TDF is looking for a "Project Manager" whose duties would include:

I'm sorry, wait, what?

So the mysterious entity "The Democracy Fund" is going to be putting together "teachers' kits?" Really? And isn't it "The Right" that is constantly whining incessantly about how schools are being infiltrated by leftist, libtard propaganda, yet here we have a faceless, CRA-approved charity about to use that charity status to pump out conservative propaganda for the express purpose of getting that crap into schools? Ah, irony, where is thy sting?

One suspects that, if Ezra has any input into this, we should soon expect a first edition of "Ethical Tobacco: What Doctors Don't Tell You About the Benefits of Smoking", accompanied by a cheery, Doonesbury-like mascot named "Mr. Butts":

In any event, I think the proper course of action here is to apply for the job, for the sole purpose of figuring out what the hell is going on here, and just what those "teachers' kits" would contain. And you don't have anything better to do today, do you?

BONUS TRACK: It's fascinating that The Democracy Fund is suddenly in need of a "project manager" to do all these interesting things, given that nowhere does that group list, anywhere on its web page, any previous projects that it has ever run. In fact, whois.com shows that that domain name was registered only last year:

so it seems safe to conclude that TDF has done precisely nothing in terms of "projects" to merit its CRA charitable tax status, only to suddenly decide that it's time to start pumping out propaganda in the form of "teachers' kits" and handing out charitable tax receipts to anyone who wants to help out.

Where is Canada Revenue Agency when you actually want their involvement?

MORE CRUNCHY BONUS GOODNESS: Anonymous troublemaker asks how I could be so irresponsible as to not mention the official mascot of the Alberta Tar Sands, "Oily the Splot":

Collect the entire set.
