Yes, you have the freedom to not get medical treatment.

I could write a lengthy lead-in to this, but it should be self-explanatory. In a nutshell, one Annette Lewis refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19, then demanded that she be given equal medical treatment compared to similar patients who did get the jab.

Deliciously, the court told her to fuck right off, pointing out that, while she had every right to refuse vaccination, she most emphatically did not have the right to not be held accountable for her choices.

To no one's surprise, it was the grift factory Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms that brought this asinine and doomed action. They are apparently still considering an appeal.

P.S. Read the final section, "Public Policy Implications," for a devastating smackdown of the JCCF's idiotic argument, wherein the Court makes it clear that if Lewis refuses to maximize her chances of recovery, she is going to end up at the bottom of the transplant list, behind everyone else who is following proper guidelines.

P.P.S. It's worth pointing out that Lewis could very well die because she believed the assurances from JCCF that this was a winnable case so she could hold off getting vaxxed because the courts would ultimately rule in her favour. What level of contempt for other peoples' lives do you need to have to put someone's life at risk just for the publicity and fundraising?

Yep, try getting a transplant if you won't kick the booze or drugs. But, but, but, what about muh freedum?!

As usual, aside from everything else the right wing anti-vaxxers never want to understand how things work; if someone is putting a condition on them it must have been Trudeau personally, or at least the federal government, violating their rights under the charter (which they otherwise have zero respect for). In real life, however:

[62] There is no evidence that the preconditions for XX transplantation were initiated by any
governmental body, rather they were initiated by the Treating Physicians only and no evidence
that any governmental body purported to mandate or control the conditions for XX
transplantation
