The trucks weren't blocking the entrance to the Tim Hortons drive-thru so it wasn't clear we could tow them. -- Peter Sloly

Let's face it, the OPS was complicit with the clownvoy.

... and by the time that they realized this wasn't going to be a "weekend protest", it was far too late for them to act with what resources they had.

Ford sitting on his thumbs in Queens Park just made the situation that much worse.

I'm tired of the lack of resources excuse. Prior to the Kon Klown Konvoy's arrival, the Ottawa police requested and got reinforcements from other forces, including from the OPP, Toronto and Kingston police. There were more than enough cops on the ground to bust heads, and that would have happened had lefties been protesting.

But, as MgS points out, the cops were complicit. This was their opportunity to show that they had the backs of the unvaxxed cops that lost their jobs. This would be a very different country if other unions had half the solidarity of police unions.

This is what pisses me off the most about the whole Emergencies Act brouhaha. Did the feds need to invoke it? No. Or at least, they wouldn't have needed to if the fucking mayor and cops had done their jobs. But they didn't, so the feds did. And now the mouth breathers think they have a point, because, well, they (the feds, that is) didn't really need to.
