"I'm shocked -- SHOCKED! -- that grifting is going on in here."

"All right, I have to cough up a quarter million in fees and costs for my latest legal ass-kicking, so get out there and get beat up!"

"On it, boss."

It's amazing how Rebel News "journos" get beat up at every single event they cover. Talk about bad luck.

Oh, the drama! And the acting! Worthy of a French soccer player, though she does break the fourth wall at 0:45. But the real prize goes to Ian Miles Cheong for his reporting of the "attack":

"Prior to the melee, at least two police officers can be seen accidentally dropping some of their less-lethal firearms and attempting to pick them back up as other officers push back the line."

Look carefully - 0:08-0:10 - and you'll see that the "fireams" are in fact gloves.

You can't make this stuff up, but Rebel News can.

He's griftier than a televangelist.

Another shocker: Ezra purchased the StandWithAlexa URL hours before the incident: https://twitter.com/ryanlindley/status/1495373490555441153?t=vkW28SxIA5TTWbLXHBuJwg&s=19

ROD: I'm not convinced that's true -- while Ezra has certainly done sleazy crap like that before (see: Laura Loomer), in this case, it seems there is a misunderstanding related to the *time zone* associated with the URL registration.

What, Dave Menzies wasn't available??

Takes a beatin' and keeps on bleatin'.

Well, gloves are "less-lethal", Brian.
"Don't move! This glove is loaded!" lacks a certain something as a threat.

CC: Perhaps this Alexa thing can be attributed to time zones, but here's evidence suggesting that Ezra registered the .com domain 5 hours before the .ca site.

Once again, time zone reporting may be confusing things, but you never know with Ezra...

OK, looks like Ezra might be telling the truth in this one very specific instance:

So let's say Alexa sustained an owie at the hands of the cops. She then has a right to sue for personal injury. But what damage has Rebel News sustained that would allow them to sue the cops on her behalf?! I smell a grift.
