Over at Blogging Tory Alberta Ardvark's, right-wing attack poodle and intellectual cripple "maryT" writes something incredibly fucking stupid:
... canwest poll says 4 out of 10 have lost support for the PM, at 38%, but that means 6 out of 10-62% still support the PM.
Why isn't that the headline.
Um ... what the hell? Jesus freakin' Christ, how stupid can one person be? The fact that 4 out of 10 people have lost support for Stephen the Large does not translate to 6 out of 10 people still supporting him. For fuck's sake, let's go to the actual news piece, shall we?
Harper's personal numbers, though, have suffered over the last three months. When survey respondents were asked if their impression of the prime minister had improved over the last three months, about one in 10 (12 per cent) said it had but four in 10 (38 per cent) said their impression of Harper had worsened.
Huh. You know, that doesn't really resemble what that yappy gasbag maryT is claiming, does it? Almost 4 in 10 people now think less of Harper than they did before, but that says nothing about how many people support him outright. To learn that, we need only read further down that very article:
But despite the fact that the prorogation period caused many Canadians to change their view of Harper for the worse, nearly half of voters — 46 per cent — still say he's the right man for the job he has.
And there you go. 46 per cent, not 62 per cent. And that's why I have no interest in intellectually engaging these people: They're mental vegetables.
I'm sure you see my point.

This of course is the same "maryt" who claims Liberals prefer to have our troops killed by terrorists than to keep secret documents secret.
