Ah, irony, where is thy boot to the head?

Blogging Tory Mike Hinchey gifts us with one of the most spectacular opening lines:

Oh Michael. You've dropped off the face of the sane world, and slipped serenely into Crazyland ...

Seriously. A Blogging Tory wrote that. I would have quoted more but I was too busy horking up a lung in hysterical laughter.

In unrelated news, Blogging Tory Richard Ball wants to tell us about the evidence for God. Total coincidence. Really.

I just had to leave a comment there. It had nothing to do with the substance of the issue (looking for coherence or consistency over time in anything a politician says is an exercise that leads inevitably to insanity), but the style. What struck me is that this blogger does in fact give the impression that he thinks Ignatieff can actually *hear* him.

This is what happens when you spend a lifetime screaming at the radio or the teevee.

We have a new game here at CC HQ: If I link to someone and mock them, within minutes (no, literally, within minutes), a certain well-known wank scurries over to leave a comment, attempting to discredit whatever I wrote.

It's like having an untrained puppy following you around, watching carefully until you're just out of sight, then peeing on the floor. It's just so ... adorable.

Yeah. I was really heartbroken when Ti-Guy broke the news that Mr. Ignatieff likely wasn't listening to me/reading my blog.

I guess I'll just give up blogging. It's been fun up to now - I thought all the gc.ca hits I was getting were from politicians, but I guess not...

Doesn't matter though. I am just putting my opinion out there, as are you guys. And none of us are right all the time. Well, except you CC. You point out the absurdity you see, which much be intensely gratifying on a personal level!

I think those are just staffers following up on Google alerts. In the case of Boggin' Toree blogs, I don't think they even bother with human intervention anymore and just have a few 'bots follow up.

"And none of us are right all the time."

If you meant that to pertain to the BTs, you neglected the comma:

"And none of us are right, all the time."
