[Moved up to hang out here for a bit -- newer infantile snark below. And updated to include wicked, kickass video.]
After many months of work, I am really proud to announce the release of a new album of 13 original songs. I'd like to thank CC, my bloggospherian friends, our readers and commenters for support, encouragement, mockery and hijinks. CC liked this song so...
Here's the skinny. The songs are only available, for the time being, through Bandcamp. To celebrate the release, the first four songs are available as free downloads in the format of your choice (yes CC, that includes Ogg Vorbis, nerd) the individual tracks are available on a 'pay-what-you-will' basis with a 50 cent minimum. The whole album, 13 new songs plus 4 bonus tracks, is also 'pay-what-you-will' with a minimum of 5 Canadian dollars. Shaken is licenced under the Creative Commons with an attribution non-commercial licence. That means you have permission to make copies of the songs, you can share copies of the songs and you can even cut them into pieces, twirl them about and use them in derivative works provided I am credited. What you can't do is turn around and sell copies without my permission. And if you would like to have a copy of Shaken but don't have Paypal, drop me a line and I'll get a download code to you. Cheers! Thanks! Enjoy!

Release party! Whoo hoo!
Congratulations, psa. Best of luck!
Formidable! My chair and I just rocked this room (and the cats are hiding). Congratulations!
merci beaucoups!
On my way!
Fantastic! Shout-out at my place.
Congrats, Lindsay! I'll be pimping Shaken when and where I can.
wv = "fookatic"
Well done, Lindsay!
Hi Lindsay. I'm a techno'tard but would like to buy your new album. If you were to send your address to my private email account, I could send a cheque to you in the mail (with extra $$$s to cover the return postage costs) and you could, upon receipt of payment, mail your album to my home address, which I would send to your private email account.
Squuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!1!!!1!!!11!
I can attest to the absolute fabulousness that is Lindsay's album having been gifted with an unmixed, unmastered CD almost a year ago.
P.S. Yes, he does like me best of all ... why do you ask?
P.P.S. "cried for love" and "for all we know" are my very best favourites just in case you were wondering.
P.P.S.S. Go! Buy! What are you waiting for? Srsly.
Great stuff, Lindsay!
Ya'll done good . . . .
sooey, my email is attached to my profile. drop me a line and i'll arrange either to get you a download code (like a ticket to get you in) at the bandcamp site or we can arrange for a round plastic copy to find its way to you. i'm not manufacturing cds of this album but i am willing to burn a disc or two for the more excellent people. cheers and thanks all!
this is terrific, Lindsay. I'm too wiped to go over the details of how to get a copy right now, but I definitely want one. A couple of my co-pilots make films and are always looking for good, original music.
Just so happy for you!
Fantastic! Great stuff Lindsay, I'm in.
Really. And the video is right on, cowboy. You make it all seem so easy.
as a soon-to-be-former professional music critic, I would like to point out that this is one terrific freaking recording. Crisp production, quality songwriting and some tasty guitar. A touch of twang, a little darkness and a lot of intimacy. Five stars!
Whooee! Just bought it. Good stuff! Worth way more than $5... at least $10. ;-)
why thankee jim bobby! and every sale means the world to me right now. took a real financial shit kicking in the last few months and i truly do appreciate the kindness of my friends and fellow bloggers!
Nice capsule review, Rev.! Agree completely.
