Ann Coulter: Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Oh, NOEZ!!1!1!1! Raging, xenophobic, racist gasbag Ann Coulter -- who has made an entire career of hating pretty much everyone and calling for the violent execution of those she disagrees with -- finally pushes people past the breaking point:

American right-winger Ann Coulter's speech at the University of Ottawa was cancelled Tuesday night due to security concerns after thousands protested outside the venue.

Too fucking bad. And all you progressives who are now lamenting this as an unfortunate over-reaction which makes us look intolerant? Yeah, you can put a fucking sock in it, too.

P.S. You realize, of course, that the pathetic, whiny residents of Canada's Dumbass-o-sphere who are now lamenting the deplorable state of "free speech" in this country are the very ones who were, not that long ago, cackling gleefully over British MP George Galloway being barred from entry to Canada. I guarantee that not a single one of those useless dickwads will recognize their own hypocrisy.

P.P.S. To Canada's Littlest Bigot Kathy Shaidle, who mouthed off thusly:

P.S. I dare just one of you to come up to me and "express your concerns" to my face at UWO. We both know you don't have the balls.

As the saying goes, Kathy, you vile, little racist ratbag, ask and you shall receive. Apparently, several hundred people were more than happy to "express their concerns" in Ottawa and hand you and your fellow bigots your heads on a plate. And, curiously, none of the news reports appears to describe you out there, kicking ass and taking names.

What was that about "balls" again?

Bless the CBC for posting that picture.

Ann's only in Canada because she's running out of opportunities in the US. Nobody has her on anymore since she moved to the penthouse suite in the Wingnut Event Horizon Hotel.

The photo suggests she'd make a killing starring in horror movies.

I'm up late fuming about the CBC piece. Past the horror of U of WO students applauding her attack on HRC, the article quotes Liberal MP Scott Brison telling Coulter's political opponents "If you don't agree with what she has to say, then ignore her."

Uh, what now?

I twittered the twat and asked him if he ignores Harper, his "political opponent."

Looking forward to the answer.

Reacting passively toward hate-mongering wingnuts is not what's called for. Loud heckling, booing, and protesting is exactly what's needed.

And if they call us dirty dickless gerbils, FINE!

You can't blame Kathy for referring to people she doesn't like as "dickless gerbils." She's married to Arnie Lemaire -- I'm guessing the imagery just comes to her unbidden.

Coulter is gonna dine out on this for years to come.
Does anyone else think this might be a scam?

Yup - any excuse to cut and run... and then claim victory - it's the Conservative way.

Of course it's a scam. Did you see Ezra on the tube tonight? He was ecstatic. He was squeezing his gerbil so tight his eyes were bugging out.

People who call themselves "Progressives" don't look intolerant, they just look silly.

Especially when they can't critique female pundits without using words like "skank" and "harridan".

I think I'll blog about this whole "Progressive" thing later today. I know. Exciting wot?

You're just going to have to get over that. It's puling and pathetic. It's also the kind of attitude that has brought on this free speech fetish backlash.

Anyway, Coulter herself uses the word "harridan" in the classically sexist way: to denigrate women who aren't strident and scolding with whom she just happens to disagree. She also is deeply sexist when condemning men with whom she doesn't agree, calling them "fags" and "girly-men."

You reap what you sow.

There is no free speech fetish backlash, ya big old stooge.
