Progressive Blogger "Gordie Canuk" defends his new "Canada's Best Political Blogs" aggregator thusly:
I've already turned down some requests...anyone is welcomed to follow it, but inclusion is at my discretion.
Ah, I'm so relieved. For a while, I thought membership was going to be based on some totally arbitrary and subjective personal criteria. I stand corrected.

DAMMIT JANET! just joined The Blogging Alliance of Non-Partisan Canadians. It was established and has been in operation for a while; it gathers the bloggers that fit the parameters named in its title.
As far as I can tell, none of the bloggers belong to a specific political aggregator.
an aggregator drawn solely on the whims of the manager.... isn't that called a blogroll?!

I don't want to belong to any aggregator that would have me as a member.
Kevron...a blog aggregator puts up snippets of individual blogs, as opposed to just listing them. Many aggregators have requirements for inclusion...such as political affiliation or slant.
My aggregator is of well written politcal blogs, regardless of partisan leanings. People who like my choices will use it, those that don't...won't.
