Via Impolitical, we learn what the Stephen Harper Party of Canada thinks your vote should cost:
... So, last Friday, Junior MacKay announced $11.1 million for the Digby-Saint John Ferry Service from the federal government as a second round of government funding. Oh, and $3 million for the wharf in Digby.
Following this major expenditure was an announcement on August 6th of $6.4 million to be spent on 22 Nova Scotia harbours.
On that same day, throw in an announcement of $12 million for a Halifax sport facility to be used in the 2011 Canada Winter Games.
Same day, $760,000 for Atlantic Economuseum Corp. Inc., in his riding.
All in all, about $33 million in MacKay announcements for Nova Scotia this week.
On the one hand, the voters of Nova Scotia could recognize that they're being played for utter and total patsies.
On the other hand, well ...

With the Feds now randomly slashing other programs, it's not hard to guess where that money is going.
The corollary is that the Con$ obviously place a low value on culture.
