Now I ask you …

Why should Big Daddy and his merry band of in-and-out, security breaching fuckwits work for your votes when they can get them the old-fashioned way — buying them.

The Harper government promised yesterday to build a new $1-billion bridge between Montreal and the South Shore, just three weeks before a by-election in a suburban riding that would directly benefit from the new link.

I suppose we can take some small comfort in the fact that it's not a bridge to nowhere.

Heh. Every time I think of the "bridge to nowhere" this runs through my head for some reason.

Boy, I bet the Albertans are livid about the amount of their hard-earned taxes that has been shovelled into Québec so it can maintain generous social programs it can't afford. They were apoplectic when any previous government did it, so they must be murderously enraged by now.

You'd think, wouldn't you? But... they must get their majority NO MATTER WHAT.

Great song, btw.
