Totally unsurprising revelations from south of the border (all emphasis added):
Former Surgeon General Richard H. Carmona told a Congressional panel Tuesday that top Bush administration officials repeatedly tried to weaken or suppress important public health reports because of political considerations...
Dr. Carmona said he was ordered to mention President Bush three times on every page of his speeches. He also said he was asked to make speeches to support Republican political candidates and to attend political briefings.
Hmmmmmmm ... that sounds suspiciously familiar ... oh, right:
Ottawa (21 Sept. 2006) - The Harper Conservatives have been forced to reinstate a senior scientist who was fired for objecting to an order to turn federal correspondence into political propaganda by injecting a mandatory reference praising "Canada's new government."
Wow. So they really are the same egotistical, politically opportunistic sociopaths on both sides of the border.
Yeah, that was too easy. No degree of difficulty for that one.

Oh, but it gets better. Bush, ehr, HARPER spoke at the great wing-nut-atorium, the Center for Policy Analysis (see Christian Reconstructionism, Jack Abramoff), back in 1998. Too bad the Canadian press gave that a major pass during the elections....(focused on the evil liberal party leaker instead--TWITS!).
