About the vid - I think that he vividly embellished something that really happened to him.
In fact, I remember reading or hearing something similar years ago, only it was based on phone messages left on the boyfriend's answering machine. Good yarn though, well done.
Many people probably have stories about [former] partners riding the crazy train. And ex's probably have similar stories. We all get a little nuts, but some just go beyond.
