Alberto Gonzales unable to find work
Drudge reports, “Tough Job Market: Former attorney general Alberto Gonzales has been unable to interest law firms in adding his name to their roster…developing…” TNR’s Isaac Chotiner quips, “Riiight–it’s the tough job market.”
Update: The New York Times reports, "The greatest impediment to Mr. Gonzales’s being offered the kind of high-salary job being snagged these days by lesser Justice Department officials, many lawyers agree, is his performance during his last few months in office."
Let’s just take a moment to appreciate this incredible understatement of the facts — “The greatest impediment to Mr. Gonzales’s being offered the kind of high-salary job ... is his performance during his last few months in office”. This is what one normally refers to as a BFO aka a Blinding Flash of the Obvious.
I'm sure Fredo's apparent lack of job prospects has nothing, NOTHING I tell you, to do with his complete disregard for the rule of law. Nope ... couldn't be that.

Fuck that useless contemptible traitorous piece of shit. I'd hope that he'd starve to death, but with Wingnut welfare being what it is, I have no doubt he'll get a job on Fox News as a commentator or Bush will like recess appoint him to be Ambassador to West Bumfuckistan or something.
Understatements? Gosh, you'd think fascistic human rights commission edicts had swept through the United States, imposing a "chill" on political speech.
I gather he hasn't been much of a hit on the speaking circuit either. Not being able to recall anything has proven to be a real impediment to his success.
RT: LOL.
two words for you, gonzo: night nurse.

When I told my American husband this, he just laughed and laughed and laughed.
Wasn't this a delight? It had me humming happy little tunes all day!
Ah, Schadenfreude. I haven't felt this damned good since they put away Conrad Black.
Dawg - Look for new "I support Alberto Gonzales" graphics at better right-wing blogs everywhere.
Isn't there any people out there needing protection from charges like treason or war crimes? Or if you're looking for a graduate level course in the practice of perjury.
Or is it perhaps that NOW, the law may not continue to be whatever Gonzo says it is.........?
