I smell conspiracy.


Shorter Steve Janke, Boy Detective: ZOMG!!!!11!1!!!!1!!!! Elections Canada is totally out to get the Conservative Party ... and they’re using the Mounties as props. They’re going to be soooooo sorry for this. Seriously.

This would, of course, be totally, totally different from the RCMP's delicate timing in smearing Liberal finance minister Ralph Goodale just before an election.

God, I want a snarky punchline here, but I think I'll just go with the fact that Steve Janke is one of the stupidest human beings on the planet.

Maybe, if we're lucky, someone will sue him over these implications. We can only dream, can't we?

I just hope the name of some angry blogger doesn't turn up in the documentation being seized from Conservative Party HQ.

Gosh, if the Conservatives gave money to any bloggers during the election, that would count as election spending, wouldn't it?

Maybe the future Liberal ads showing the raid could have captions chosen from various blogposts...
