Cue the Blogging Tory outrage: Three ... two ... one ...
Just a few minutes ago on CTV's The National, Lloyd Robertson questioning colleague Robert Fife about the Tom Lukiwski incident, during which Fife says (paraphrased, from memory), "Well, everyone knows there's some knuckle-draggers in the [CPoC] party ..." I'm guessing that, by tomorrow morning, many BT panties will be in tight little bunches.
Yeah, we'll check in. And, remember, you read it here first.
AND SO IT BEGINS:
And when a regular commenter at SDA takes offense to a characterization of CPoC "knuckle draggers," well, you know irony is officially dead.

I doubt it. Here's Jarrett:
I can only get so angry because Mr. Lukiwski's story makes me laugh more than anything else today.
He then goes on to point out the "irony" of the fact that back in '91 Lukiwski looked "like a washed-out runner-up to a runner-up in a Freddy Mercury look-alike contest."
Har de har. It's all a joke. It's always just a joke...
Can you imagine? Tom Lukiwski is being defended by calling the attacks on him "policitcal correctness" run amok. And yet, I'm sure the screeching will start, first thing in the morning:
How dare you call members of the CPoC knuckle-draggers! That is an insult to the intelligence of CPoC members! That's a dangerous stereotype, based on ignorance and hatred!
Oh, wait...
Damn! I missed that. Thanks for the heads up.
Yes, I did read it here first.

And isn't it ironic that Freddy Mercury died of AIDS the same year Lukiwski made his remarks.
