It's adorable that Dale Smith still has the ability to be surprised:
I mean, it makes sense given that he would surely be accompanied by security. You know, being a world leader and all that.
Jason Kenney stood in line, at least some of the time. But he had not been invited as Prime Minister Trudeau was. Also Kenney got in several hours before he should have, by my calculation. I suspect his British MP friend got him in early.Val J
Here is Kenney with his British MP friend: https://twitter.com/jkenney/status/1570941934126125057?cxt=HHwWgsDSpbXXjc0rAAAA Film of Kenney inside, probably from the live feedhttps://twitter.com/cspotweet/status/1571000361279983616?cxt=HHwWgMDUwamgqM0rAAAASame film but taken with a camera? https://twitter.com/PParseyan/status/1571225852217790464?cxt=HHwWgMDQ9c_ljs4rAAAA And why do other people have their winter jackets on, but Kenney's is off and he is not carrying it?Val J
When did pp become an editor at the G&M?
Seems that being a journalist in Canada is seen as a stepping stone into politics. Dale is one of the few "true" journalists left.
