So Conservatives are irritated by perpetual, smug self-righteousness and cloying preachiness of the ultra-woke "we always know best" Liberal leadership, but they in turn just elected a perpetual, smug self-righteousness and cloying preachiness of the ultra-anti-woke "we always know best" Conservative leader. Sounds about right.

Seriously, is there anyone who is any more smug, angry and Mr. Know-It-All like than Pierre Poilievre? I mean, the guy makes Stephen Harper seem lovable and charming in comparison, which takes some doing. I honestly don't get the supposed appeal of good ol' Pierre Poutine, but then again, I didn't get the appeal of Harper, Trump, and barely understand it for Trudeau. Yet they all became leaders of their respective countries. *Shrugs*
