The Globe's Margaret Wente apparently rouses herself slowly and painfully from the bar to ask one of the dumbest questions imaginable, and is promptly roasted by the Dawg. But this inspires me to ask a (sort of) similar question:
Why are all female, Canadian conservative bloggers (or ubiquitous commenters) -- apparently without a single exception -- such hideous, vile, despicable wastes of skin, whose only value might be as organ donors if any self-respecting remotely human body wouldn't reject their offerings out of sheer outrage at having anything to do with them?
You think I jest? Shirley, I do not. Let us enumerate the unspeakable horrors: Kate McMillan, Kathy Shaidle, Brenda/"Hunter", Maria "Dodo Can Spell" Nunes, "Blue Like You" Joanne, Wendy "Right Girl" Sullivan, Steve Janke, Suzie All-Caps, Sandy Crux, "CanadianSense", "wilson", "sassylassie" ... really, must I go on?
Is there, in fact, a single prominent right-wing female bloggy voice that isn't some repulsive combination of deranged, batshit crazy, racist or just plain sack-of-soup ignorant? No, seriously, feel free to offer up a name. Because as God is my witness, I'm trying and nothing's coming to me.
And don't get me started on the journalists. Barkara Kay, Christie Blatchford, ...
