A day in the life of Patsy Ross.
Their concern is underwhelming.
Shorter "Culture of Life" Blogging Tories: "Yeah, yeah, dead Unitarians, whatever."
One of these things is not like the other.
So, let's see ... there's the screeching, leftard moonbattery of Unrepentant Hippie JJ. And there's the morals-and-values, family man compassionate conservatism of the Blogging Tories' Neo Conservative. Who to call if I need a babysitter on short notice?
Decisions, decisions ...
DEEP AFTERSNARK: Neo asks a critically important question: "What kind of freak beats a 17 year-old girl to death?" I don't know, Neo ... perhaps someone who started out on children and worked their way up?
The uncivility of the ... Left?
In an effort to increase the civility of public discourse, Blogging Tory "Barrel Strength" demeans people as "Obamamaniacs," links to David Horowitz's "Front Page Magazine," and gives a hat tip to Kathy Shaidle.
That's pretty much the trifecta of wingnut craziness right there, wouldn't you say?
Just when you think they can't POSSIBLY get any stupider ...
Shorter drooling dingbat Deborah Gyapong: "The appalling bigotry and gay-bashing intolerance of Fred Phelps just proves how dishonest and hateful the Left is."
IOKIYAC
Stephen the Large can't seem to get that accountability, responsibility and transparency thing sorted out. After making such a fuss about changing the way things get done in Ottawa, he set up new rules that included a disclosure rule for gifts exceeding $200 in value. You guessed it, in the words of the weasels,
Sweet. In the process. I'm not breaking the rules, I'm just following them very slowly. So slowly in fact that it exceeds the very limitations I put in place.
Yet again, the rules are for other folks to follow. You'd think that message would be clear by now.
"All items are either disclosed properly or are in the process of being disclosed," said the official, who asked not to be identified.
Sweet. In the process. I'm not breaking the rules, I'm just following them very slowly. So slowly in fact that it exceeds the very limitations I put in place.
Under the new conflict rules in the Conservatives' public accountability legislation of 2006, all gifts Harper and his cabinet ministers receive valued over $200 must be reported within 30 days.
A compliance manager for Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson told The Canadian Press the office has not received notice of gifts received by Harper since his last report on Feb. 2. The last gift on that disclosure was a framed photo Harper received during a visit to Churchill, Man., in October 2007.
Yet again, the rules are for other folks to follow. You'd think that message would be clear by now.
Because everyone needs a little low-hanging fruit.
The incomparable dr. roy:
As I said yesterday. I support free speach.
"Speach." How incredibly mudfortunate.
The joy of tasers.
Your highly-trained law enforcement officials in action. Somewhere, Blogging Tory "Neo Conservative" has just finished reading that same article and is wiping himself off with a Kleenex.
"... but on the other hand ..."
Shorter deranged fetus fetishist SUZANNE: "As someone who has, until now, been totally and utterly unconcerned about poll methodologies, let's talk about someone else's poll methodologies."
Seriously, it's time to move on. Beating up on the intellectually stunted starts to lose its entertainment value after a while. Unless it's Twatrick -- that never gets old.
AFTERSNARK: Buckets weighs in, and shows how the early, anti-choice climatic crescendo has been replaced by the ugly, depressing afterglow of reality.
"Thanks for coming. Now piss off."
Shorter Maxime Bernier: "And in the spirit of Conservative Party transparency, accountability and taking responsibility for your actions, you can all fuck right off."
Well, yes, that IS a more polite way of putting it.
Blogging Tory "Hunter" courageously stands up in her 12-step meeting and comes clean:
I Am Conservative!
There, I said it! I feel better.
It's something I don't say often enough, to people I know.
"Conservative": Because it's shorter and more easily-remembered than "mind-meltingly, ignorant retard."

Reality much, dude?
Blogging Tory "Searching for Liberty" is apparently deadly serious when he opines thusly:
I think bloggers, by and large, are more inclined to seek knowledge than the average citizen.
Yes, dear ... whatever you say.
It's because they lie. All the time.
I'm going to start calling it the "Patrick Ross" syndrome -- the perpetual distortion and misrepresentation of the facts. Here, we have new Blogging Tory member "East Beast" making himself right at home by fibbing before the paint on his new BT cubicle name plate is even dry:
The Globe and Mail reported today that the Los Angeles City Council has banned fast food restaurants in certain poor neighbourhoods.
Really? They did that? Hey, I know ... let's go the actual article to which East Beast links, and which he is attempting to represent (emphasis added):
LOS ANGELES — City officials are putting South Los Angeles on a diet.
The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to place a moratorium on new fast food restaurants in an impoverished swath of the city with a proliferation of such eateries and above average rates of obesity.
The yearlong moratorium is intended to give the city time to attract restaurants that serve healthier food. The action, which the mayor must still sign into law, is believed to be the first of its kind by a major city to protect public health.
Oh ... so it's not really, like, a "ban," is it? It is, instead, a moratorium on new construction. To encourage healthier alternatives to come in and set up shop. And it's only for a year. Which is, not surprisingly, not quite the impression you get from EB's excitable breathlessness, is it?
Welcome to the BT neighbourhood, EB. You're going to fit in just fine. Trust me on that.
This does NOT look like a promising development.
Taking a brief hiatus from celebrating the violent murder of Toronto's minorities, Blogging Tory "Neo Conservative" discovers a whole new subject for prurient obsession:
Super ... so now we'll have one of Stephen Taylor's finest, stalking the streets of Belleville with his Canon PowerShot, snapping pics of the working women and ... what? Creating a clever collage above the computer in his basement? And warning the kids that they really shouldn't disturb Daddy when he's in the downstairs office anymore, if you catch my drift?
I'm sure nothing good can come of this. God help us all if the RCMP start reporting on murdered hookers in Belleville -- I'm betting you'll be able to hear the moans of satisfaction from Neo's basement all the way to Kingston.
Stephen Taylor's Blogging Tories of Canada: Because if you can't blog about national politics, dead niggers and hookers will do just fine, too.
While I'm here, SUZANNE ...
Yes, I realize it's flogging a thoroughly deceased equine but, really, fetus fetishist SUZANNE is truly the gift that keeps on giving. In today's hilarity, Suzie All-Caps links to the relentless pissing and moaning over at LifeShit News, who complain about, among other things:
On July 3 online polls across the country showed the vast majority of Canadians opposed the award. A Newstalk 650 showed 85% opposed, a Calgary Herald showed 77.95% against, a VOCM's poll showed 80% against, a Winnipeg Sun's poll showed 76% against. Even a CNews poll with the stark choice of "Yes, he's a champion of women's rights," or "No, he's a murderer," found more agreeing with Morgentaler being dubbed a 'murderer'. The largest of such opt-in polls were the CTV poll, with more that 16,000 respondents, and the Globe and Mail poll, with over 20,000 respondents. The CTV poll showed 61% opposed and 39% in favour.
Hmmmmm ... "online polls across the country"?? I'm thinking that maybe -- just maybe -- a reason that the MSM isn't taking any of the above seriously is that they're aware of how easily such online polls can be ... manipulated? Distorted? Damn, what's the word I'm looking for? Oh, right ... "freeped":
Pierre Trudeau: Worst Canadian
Perhaps some of you remember the contest held by The Beaver Magazine for the Worst Canadian.
Well, all that freeping paid off.
So, to recap, fetus fetishist SUZANNE, who was instrumental in freeping the shit out of an online poll last year to the extent that its results were worthless, and then proceeded to publicly brag about said freeping on her blog, is now linking to a whiny article bitching about how the MSM (for some inexplicable reason) doesn't take online polls seriously anymore.
As the saying goes, you really can't make this stuff up, can you?
CC HQ early afternoon TV.
Musical entertainment by CC HQ blogger and kick-ass guitarist PSA, with backup humping and drooling by Axis of Douchebaggery's Patsy Ross.
Strangely, that didn't require a great deal of suspension of belief, did it?
Dear SUZANNE: Holy crap, but you're stupid.
Fetus fetishist and MASSIVE POLL fan SUZANNE continues to be utterly deranged:
Canadian Media News Blackout on Massive Poll Showing Majority Oppose Morgentaler Award
Read the Lifesite Article Here
Too tired to write much right now.
You just don't get it, do you, Suzie? We here in Realityville would love it if the MSM got onto that MASSIVE POLL. I personally would be so satisfied if the MSM dug into this that I'd probably need a cigarette afterwards.
Seriously, SUZANNE, you should be thanking God that the MSM is utterly uninterested in this story because, if they decided to get curious, the results would be absolutely embarrassing for KLR Vu and everyone involved.
But feel free to continue bitching about it, SUZANNE. Maybe, with enough whining on the part of you and LifeShit News, someone will get interested. And that's when the fun will truly begin.
BY THE WAY, Suzie, if you plan on blaming all this lack of interest on liberal media bias, you might want to explain why even the hard-right National Post has ignored this idiocy all this time. Go on, Suzie -- accuse the Post of anti-conservative prejudice. That would pretty much make my day.
BONUS AFTERSNARK: And while we're on the subject, Suzie, would your suggestions of anti-conservative bias extend to the entire community of Canada's Blogging Tories? Because, the last time I looked, a number of them are frothingly anti-choice, but not a single one of them has seen fit to pimp that MASSIVE POLL. Hell, even the deranged Dr. Roy hasn't mentioned it, and that should tell you something.
Well, it would if you were the slightest bit interested in listening.
The reward for being right.
You're all busy people so let me summarize this. There's this:
CC said...
Hunter:
Against my better judgment, I'm actually going to try to engage you on the content of this post, and we'll see whether you're capable of reasoned discourse
Which eventually begat this:
hunter said...
Okay, CC, it's a hoax. You win. I post an email, that I took on faith, and you proved it was a fake. Mea Culpa.
To which hideous and homophobic douchebag MaryT responded curiously:
maryT said...
Hunter, congratulations for keeping your kool, and to your regular readers for keeping theirs. I don't think many of us would object if you banned the CC crowd. Must be a slow day for them.
At which point, Hunter was all over that idea like Richard Evans on the "Gap for Kids" autumn catalog:
hunter said...
Thanks MaryT, going to have to do some spring cleaning and get all the rodents out of my house.
If by "rodents," you mean "people who had to work unnecessarily hard to bitch slap some sense into me and explain to me the errors of my ways." I'm guessing Hunter went with "rodents" because it's punchier.
And the OoC blowback begins ...
Lifeshit News strokes themselves into another OoC orgasm:
9th Order of Canada to be Returned over Award to Abortionist
The siblings of the late Alphonse Gerwing and the Alphonse Charity Foundation have unanimously agreed to return the Order of Canada medal
By John-Henry Westen
KELOWNA, BC, July 21, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The siblings of the late Alphonse Gerwing and the Alphonse Charity Foundation have unanimously agreed to return the Order of Canada medal he was awarded in 1989. The decision was made to add their voices in protest of the awarding of the Order of Canada to abortionist Henry Morgentaler.
This time, however, someone is a bit hacked off about it:
The Gerwing gambit
JIM GERWING
July 23, 2008
Victoria -- As a former Benedictine monk and a member of the Gerwing family, I find it disconcerting to think that Canada might remove the name of Alphonse Gerwing from the Order of Canada at the behest of the John Gerwing family (Humanitarian's Family Returns Order Of Canada - B.C. and online editions, July 22).
Alphonse was a kind and remarkable man who richly deserved this honour. The Order of Canada was not given to the John Gerwing family, and they have absolutely no right to return it simply because they disagree with the fact that Henry Morgentaler is also a recipient. Canada should not accept the return of such an honour unless it is explicitly written into the deceased person's will.
Dear ignorant wanks: Here's a thought. Unless it's your personal Order of Canada, just shut the fuck up. No one cares what you think.
P.S. By the way, wanks ... what part of "A person's membership in the Order ceases when (a) the person dies; ..." are you still having such difficulty with?
Jesus. Intolerant and stupid. What a crippling combination.
When complete illiterates write press releases.
What is wrong with this picture? http://campaignlifecoalition.com/press/2008/0800722pole.html
Just when you think they've maxed out on the dumbfuck factor, you learn that their amp goes to 11.
Hello? Blogging Tories? Dead Unitarians? Anyone home?
Curiously, the outrage is less than palpable. Fancy that.
P.S. I really miss the BT search box where I could embarrass the entire Blogging Tory groupthink collective with a single mouse click. Do you think that if I ask Stephen Taylor nicely, he'd bring it back?
Me neither.
I … I … I think I need to walk this one off.
Shorter Mr. Potato Head West: Scratch a Feminist and you’ll find a social engineering, Eugenics supporting fascist who longs for their very own Canadian version of Apartheid.
Um … ewwwwwwwww?
This is just 57 varieties of wrong, wrong, WRONG (emphasis all mine):
After [Monica] Goodling resigned, Williamson typed from memory the list of questions Goodling asked as a guide for future interviews. Among other questions, the list included the following:
Tell us about your political philosophy. There are different groups of conservatives, by way of example: Social Conservative, Fiscal Conservative, Law & Order Republican.
[W]hat is it about George W. Bush that makes you want to serve him?
Aside from the President, give us an example of someone currently or recently in public service who you admire.
H/T to the Muckrakers at TPM.
Apparently, we've got some spare time on our hands.
"John, how ya doing?"
"Fred, long time, no see, what are you here for?"
"Well, John, being a pro-life, family values, God-fearing kind of Christian, I've come all this way to tell people how much I hate abortion."
"Hey, me too, Fred. I really hate it."
"Well, I'll bet you don't hate it as much as I do. Because I really, really hate it."
"Oh, I don't know, Fred, I don't think anyone hates it as much as me."
Awkward pause.
"So, uh, what do you wanna do now?"
"I don't know, man ... you wanna hire a couple hookers to knock our junk around?"
"Sure, works for me."
Fade to black ....
THE UNINTENTIONAL STUPID: It's going to be quite the pro-life party:
Among the many notable speakers at this major conference will be Father Gerard Wilberforce, the great, great grandson of slavery abolitionist William Wilberforce...
Hughes says, "Wilberforcee is one of a growing list of descendants of very prominent anti-slavers such as the current descendent of Dread Scott, upon whom was built the terrible Dread Scott case in the United States which said that black humans were only three fourths human, and also Dr. Alveda King, the niece of the late Martin Luther King Jr., who is also in the forefront of the pro-life movement. It is growing trend."
Yeah, when Wilberforcee starts talking about "Dread Scott," I'm betting there won't be a dry eye in the house. Or a historically literate one.
Your Blogging Tory crime report, Wed, Jul 30.
Yo, Neo! Any minority-related violent crime in Toronto we should know about? Ah ... there we go.
Everyone needs a hobby, I guess.

You have GOT to be kidding me.
Just when you think the "Massive New Poll" has finally been buried by every fetus-humping whacko except SUZANNE, Lifesite goes on a brand new persecution bender.
H/T to JJ.
"Causality? Um ... not sure where you're going with this."
"So he hated liberals, and he said he hated liberals, and he wrote that he hated liberals. So what's your point?"
God, it's like Patsy Ross with his new thesaurus, isn't it?
Pimp your blog!
And now, an increasingly-regular feature here at CC HQ, for when I am too damned lazy or busy to, you know, blog -- pimp your blog. The restrictions: Canadian, progressive, and in desperate need of additional traffic. Take it away.
When really, grotesquely fucking stupid commenters comment.
So ... what was the problem again (emphasis added)?
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - An unemployed man accused of opening fire with a shotgun and killing two people at a Unitarian church apparently targeted the congregation out of hatred for its liberal social policies, police said Monday...
"It appears that what brought him to this horrible event was his lack of being able to obtain a job, his frustration over that and his stated hatred of the liberal movement," Owen said at a news conference.
From which we can logically conclude ... what?
What Jim D. Adkisson did is horrific, irrational & full of malice, but I would like some more information on why he did it, like those videos. There is a puzzle piece missing here. Even the KKK had reasons to blow up Black churches as ugly as they where, why this guy went after this deist group has my attention if not scratching my head.
Small Dead Animals: Because even the howlingly dumbest and most mind-meltingly retarded people in Canada have a right to their opinion.
Apparently, dead Jews just aren't funny enough anymore.
Regarding the aforementioned killing of allegedly "liberal" churchgoers by a crazed, right-wing gunman in Tennessee, Canada's Cuntiest Blogger Kate McMillan knows exactly where to lay the responsibility:
Quite so, Kate. And I'm sure that, if a deranged leftist were to open fire and slaughter some innocent conservatives, you'd be there, asking the right-wing survivors to search deep within themselves to figure out why they were to blame. Because, clearly, it would have been their fault. Um ... that was your point, wasn't it?
Stephen Taylor's Blogging Tories of Canada: Because what's the point of murdering some Unitarians if you can't score a few political points off of it?
Still waiting for that outrage, Twatsy.
Regular visitors to CC HQ will probably remember the case of one Ed Snell, who got his ass booted off of a special raised platform attached to the roof of his car, which Snell placed there for the sole purpose of harassing abortion clinic patrons over a security fence, an incident which drove Axis of Douchebaggery's Twatick Rosshole into an absolutely panty-twisting ragegasm as he sputtered and fumed about the murderous incivility of the Left here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here.
Curiously, for someone that was that aggrieved over a simple case of assault, Twatsy is oddly quiet over right-wing propaganda fueled nutjob Jim David Adkisson who shot up a Unitarian Church, killing two people because they were "liberal".
That's some pretty selective anger you have going on there, Twatsy. I'm guessing that, in this case, your outrage is conveniently context-dependent. Then again, it always is, isn't it?
That’s just sad.
Shorter Five Feet of I Hate Everyone™: I’m, like, sooooooooo the bomb 'cause Free Mark Steyn totally says so. No, seriously, 'kay?
And furthermore ... has anyone else noticed that marriage seems to have mellowed Five Feet of Got Bigotry, Will Travel™? Yeah, me neither.
Murdering liberals -- it's the conservative thing to do.
It was back in 2006 when David Neiwert wrote a new piece on the ever-increasing spectre of right-wing eliminationist rhetoric -- the practice of not just disagreeing with your ideological opponent, but descending into language involving accusations of anti-Americanism, treason and so on; suggesting that the proper response was to simply, well, eliminate those kinds of troublemakers for the good of the country.
And very few on the right saw a problem with this. After all, what could possibly go wrong? Oopsie:
Bill O'Reilly, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity on accused shooter's reading list
4-page letter outlines frustration, hatred of 'liberal movement'
... Inside the [shooter's] house, officers found "Liberalism is a Mental Health Disorder" by radio talk show host Michael Savage, "Let Freedom Ring" by talk show host Sean Hannity, and "The O'Reilly Factor," by television talk show host Bill O'Reilly.
Wow ... who could have seen that coming? I mean, after spewing eliminationist propaganda all over the airwaves for years, who could possibly have imagined that someone would finally take you seriously and do something about it?
This is your fault, whingers. Make absolutely no mistake -- deranged shooter Jim David Adkisson is your creation. You primed him, you encouraged him, you pointed him at the correct targets ... and you let him loose to murder two people.
Again, make sure you understand this -- Jim David Adkisson is your creation. Yours, and Bill O'Reilly's, and Michael Savage's, and Ann Coulter's, and every other frothing right-wing lunatic who has encouraged his or her fans to kill lefties, but always blows it off later as humour, hey, I was just kidding, can't you people take a joke, but seriously, those lefties are really all traitors who love terrorists, know what I mean, nudge nudge, wink wink?
Are you paying attention, Stephen Taylor? Does it bother you in the least the increasing number of accusations amongst the membership of the Blogging Tories painting lefties as traitors? Or as loving terrorists? Or hating Canada? Does it make you even remotely nervous to have as a member of the Blogging Tories one "Neo Conservative," who has an uncomfortably creepy obsession with anything related to violent crime?
This is your heads-up, Stephen, because -- as we all know -- once it happens down there, it's inevitably going to migrate up here. And when it does happen, wouldn't it be a kick in the nads if it turned out to be one of your precious BTs? I mean, wouldn't it be just hilarious if it turned out to be Neo? Oh, man, you would be on the receiving end of history's biggest "I told you so!"
But I'm sure I'm overreacting here, Stephen. I'm sure there's nothing to be concerned over. Neo's perpetual fetish for police news and murder statistics? Nothing to worry about. So he's obsessed with violent crime, particularly when it involves minorities. Everyone needs a hobby, I guess. And, after all, what can possibly go wrong? Right?
WHAT CHET SAID: Let the spin begin.
Bueller?
Shorter Damian Penny: "The thought of someone physically hunting and killing "liberals" is appalling and, as Blogging Tories who worship a "culture of life," it's up to us BTs to stand up and denounce this horror unconditionally. Who's with me? Anyone? Anyone? Hello? *Tap* *Tap*. Is this thing on?"
Shorter Twatrick: "Sorry, no time to grieve for murdered liberals -- too busy writing about the danger to society of anonymous bloggers."
Oh, for fuck's sake!
Let it go, SUZANNE! You are only making a bigger ass of yourself with each post. Please, for the sake of your children, don't make Mommy look like even more of a retard than she already is.
P.S. By the way, SUZANNE, still waiting for an answer to my question. I'm guessing I can stop waiting now.
You know what you can do with your facts, buddy.
Shorter MaryT: "Fucking, annoying leftards, coming in here with their correctness and accuracy and careful research and everything. We're Blogging Tories -- we can do without that kind of shit."
Shorter Hunter: "Fuckin' A, sister! Reality -- who needs it? More tea, Mary, dear?"
And the right-wing dumbfuckathon picked up where it left off as if nothing had ever happened.

A Conservative woman's work is never done.
Dear Hunter:
Project much?
Yours in perpetual superiority,
LuLu
Hey CC ... can I have my pat on the head now?
Whatever turns you on, I guess.
Blogrunner pops by for a visit. You remember Blogrunner, don't you?
And what exactly is Blogrunner interested in this time? You can't be serious:
So the New York Times is amused by a fake polling company from Manitoba, and the fact that the Saskatchewan provincial government told Kate McMillan to fuck right off.
I swear, life gets weirder by the day.
And now, a man who wants no introduction ...
Good thinking. If I received that award, I wouldn't want any of my colleagues to know about it, either.
Homicidal moonbat leftard murders churchgoers!
Well, not really, but how long do you think it'll take before it's represented that way? Come on, Blogging Tories ... don't let us down. We're counting on you.
P.S. Take a good look at him, Patsy. It's like looking into the future, isn't it?
A clear and present danger?
Your highly-trained RCMP in action:
WINNIPEG -- A 17-year-old girl says she was tasered three times while confined to an RCMP holding cell in Selkirk, Man.
The girl, who was 16 at the time of the incident, said she was held down by four officers, one for each limb, while a taser was used on her legs and groin area. She said the third shock lasted between five and eight seconds and left her screaming in pain.
In related news, Blogging Tory Neo Conservative opined, "Jesus, what's the big deal?" Or something to that effect.
Tap tap tappity tap, KLRVU-style.
This really is the gift that keeps on giving, isn't it?
BY THE WAY, the following strikes me as a bit weird. Over at klrvu.com, you read:
Recent Poll Results July 21st, 2008
NEW NATIONAL POLL:
research done for CLC Canada
for their press release click here
But clicking on that link does not take you to CLC's own press release. It takes you instead to the news piece about that poll at right-wing LifeSite News! Why?
The official CLC press release can be read here, so why did KLRVU link instead to a news piece on the topic instead? If it was my polling company and I provided a link that promised to take someone to a group's press release, I really would take readers to that press release, and not to a right-wing news piece describing that press release.
Am I allowed to think that that's horrifically unprofessional behaviour?
Here, Kate ... let me tighten that up a bit for you.
Canada's Most Bestest Blogger makes an attempt at humour:
No, that reads a bit awkwardly. How about:
5 - 0!
Good things happen when you tell Canada's Bestest Blogger to fuck right off.
Yeah, that works for me.

There's stupid and then there's the Blogging Tories.
Today’s edition courtesy of "Hunter" who proves with each new post that just when you think she’s reached rock bottom in terms of stupidity, she’s got a shovel hidden somewhere.
In other news, water is still wet, the sky is still blue, the average Blogging Tory is as dumb as a fucking stump and "Hunter’s" shrieky anti-Obama post has been thoroughly debunked. Not that it matters to our Elmer-Fudd-loving gal ... after all, everyone who's anyone knows that reality has a distinctly liberal bias.
Stephen Taylor must be so proud. No, really.
CC ADDS: For better or worse, I have made a sincere attempt to engage Hunter on this topic. The Blogging Tories are constantly whining about how we on the Left engage in nothing but insults and demeaning putdowns.
Well, fine ... then let's see if people like Hunter are truly capable of an intelligent conversation that involves examining the actual facts. Personally, given her contributions to her own comments section thus far, I'm not optimistic, but I'm willing to cut her some slack. Let's see what she does with it.
Your move, Hunter.
LuLu again. While I applaud CC's attempt to engage "Hunter" in a civil, logical manner (something the average Blogging Tory is clueless about), I'll be shocked, just shocked, if she actually shows CC the same respect. After all, this is the same screaming retard who had the following to say when I had the unmitigated gall to comment on one of her excessively shrieky "Won't someone think of teh fetuses!!!!!1!1!11!!!1!" threads.
Baird Poo Poos
John Baird, the angry man with the spherical noggin, is trying to dissuade voters from falling for the insidious Liberal plan to tax polluters. As any business major can tell you, a corporation will gladly pay huge sums of money for the privilege of spewing filth into the environment. Thus Baird informs us that a carbon tax would constitute a "pay-and-pollute" system. Having seen how effectively Mr Baird and his associates have worked to institute environmental policies both at home and internationally (where we are back, back on the international stage), his logic is flawless. If you happen to be a completely ignorant sucker.
To date the Cons have presented some nebulous scheme that would invoke carbon reductions by 2050. After a few more generations of asthmatic kids wheeze into power, there might be some motivation. And there's some relief to be had knowing that the Conservative's client government will have served its mandate of keeping the tar pits open for raping. Syncrude be praised. Kyoto couldn't be moved forward or even attempted until everyone else, from China to Togo and from India to Belize signed up. After all, if everyone is standing in a circle pissing into the porridge, there's no point in smartening up and stopping 'til every last single other idiot stops. The Con's insist that until everyone else acts, that they'd be fools to lead. In the mean time, there's money in that thar filth and they ain't about to piss off the folks with the money. They are the ones that really count. Hell, just ask Jimminy Prentice, that's how things operate.
"A company could simply buy their way out of the problem by simply paying the tax and continuing to go forward, putting carbon into the atmosphere," Baird told reporters in Vancouver on Friday.
"We think we need mandates to reduce carbon emissions, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions."
Baird distanced his comments from B.C.'s carbon tax, saying each level of government has to deal with the issue of global warming in its own way.
So while one side of his cavernous yawp is scoffing at Dion's carbon tax idea, Baird and the Conservative government are presiding over a landscape where lakes and rivers across the country will be ceded to mining concerns and turned into toxic tailing dumps. Huge American corporations that make wasteful, fuel guzzling shitboxes fall out of favour with the public and the Cons want to give them giant taxpayer funded pity payouts.
Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said the federal government is interested in helping GM begin production of a new car at the Oshawa car plant.
He said he was willing to use funds from a C$250 million ($245 million) Automotive Innovation Fund designed to develop more fuel-efficient vehicles.
Call me crazy but $250 million for vehicle development could go a long way to supporting Canadian innovations like the Zenn. But then Harper's government would need to actually give a shit about something other than the oil powered status quo. All the disingenuous bleating about made in Canada solutions ring just a little hollow when Canadian success stories like the Zenn can't get a straight answer from the government and have to consider taking their business off shore. But poor, poor General Motors can commiserate with Harper and Baird and all the other fat assed creeps that are linked hand to pocket, after all GM's already killed off a beloved electric vehicle.
Baird can scream and shout and turn his enormous bulb of a head bright purple but it won't prove that he is anything more than a sideshow freak. He doesn't have a particular interest in seeing anything done about carbon emissions or any sort of pollution. He's a company man and he doesn't work for us, we just pay his wage.
And now, a man who needs no introduction ...
And if you look to your right (no, your other right, Patsy), you'll notice that we have a new member here at CC HQ -- military specialist and cub reporter
Did I mention that he does military stuff? Yeah, I mentioned that.
Dear SUZANNE: A few simple questions.
Since SUZANNE is adamant that we keep talking about "the poll," I have some trivially direct questions for her about "the poll." SUZANNE makes the following claims, for which I have precisely the same question in each case:
Over 157 000 households were contacted.
How do you know that, SUZANNE?
There were 13 000 respndents.
How do you know that, SUZANNE?
They were weighted for geographic density-- in other words, they were from all over the country.
How do you know that, SUZANNE?
The automated dialer phoned these households and asked whether abortionist Henry Morgentaler should received the Order of Canada. They pressed "1" for "yes" and "2" for no.
Over 55% responded "no".
How do you know that, SUZANNE?
In some provinces, the opposition was about 2/3 of the population.
How do you know that, SUZANNE?
Pretty straightforward, huh?
Um ... no, SUZANNE. And any time you're up to answering the above questions, we'll be right here. We'll be easy to spot -- we're the ones who aren't hilariously gullible buffoons and propagandists.
BY THE WAY, try to believe that someone who claims to have worked for a polling firm once could have written the following:
Does it matter who commissioned or conducted the poll? No.
Holy fuck, but how screamingly retarded do you have to be to claim to have professional polling experience, then suggest that who commissions or conducts a public poll isn't relevant? The breathtaking dumbassitude of that statement really shouldn't require any further evisceration from me.
BONUS TRACK: And if you count AM talk radio as part of the MSM, then, yes, the MSM has noticed this little brouhaha. One wonders whether anyone else is going to run with this. And please, dear God, let them have the foresight to interview SUZANNE about it. My life would be complete.
Who didn't see THAT coming?
Sen. Barack Obama wants to visit the injured troops overseas. The Pentagon fucks him over royally:
You can predict what happens next.
All is forgiven.
At least as far as Big Daddy and Junior are concerned.
For Serge Labbé – the once-rising star of the Canadian Forces whose career came to a grinding halt after he led the disastrous Somalia mission – a promotion from colonel to brigadier-general comes with a financial windfall both immediately and for the rest of his life.
The Canadian Forces confirmed Friday that Brig.-Gen. Labbé has been promoted. In a rare move, the general's promotion will be made retroactive – both in pay and rank – to July of 2000, meaning he will receive not only significant back pay, but a boost to his pension.
The soldier was officially promoted on July 2, the same day as the chief of the defence staff change-of-command ceremony.
Given Brig.-Gen. Labbé's involvement in the Somalia mission, and the fact that two review boards previously recommended against such a promotion, critics quickly described the move as appalling. One military expert described the promotion as “almost like a presidential pardon.”
You read that right, boys and girls — eight years of retroactive pay for a man whose leadership or, more importantly, lack thereof played a significant part in the Canadian Joint Force Somalia affair and the eventual disbandment of the Canadian Airborne. According to DND’s pay scale table here, General Labbé’s increase works out to be approximately $21,900.00/year ... multiply that by 8 and you get a nice big fat cheque for just over $175,000.00.
Nice work if you can get it, huh?
Me! Me! Look at me!!!
Shorter Twatsy: "I love to live vicariously through another blogger who actually has readers."
Seriously, Twats, this man-crush thing you have going on for me is starting to creep me out. I recommend professional help.
I'm just sayin' ...

Can you say "NAMBLA," boys and girls? I knew you could.
Dear SUZANNE: The Intertoobz have a long memory.
Please to appreciate the irony of someone who, just last year, crowed publicly about freeping the shit out of (and thereby rendering utterly valueless) an online poll now presuming to lecture the rest of on the unimpeachable integrity of polls.
You just can't make this stuff up, can you?
Just one more kick.
Dear SUZANNE:
Let me try to explain this whole KLR Vu fiasco to you in words of 2 syllables or less so that your tiny little mind can actually process what I’m saying.
Canada [oops – that’s 3] is a democracy [I know, I know]. In a democratic [my bad] nation, all people are entitled [sorry] to their own opinions [this is harder than I thought]. What they are most definitely [who knew I used so many big words?] not entitled to is their own facts.
This is something that you and the rest of the fetus-humping whackos might want to work on at your next "Save Teh Fetuses!!!1!!!!1!" meeting. I’m just sayin’.
Yours in perpetual amusement,
LuLu

Attaboy, Chuck ... welcome to the real world.
Over at the Blogging Tories forum, one "Charles J. White" refuses to shy away from reality:
The polling firm which supposedly did this poll which was released to the media by an anti-abortion/pro-life group does not have a website, a physical address, nor does it have an accurate phone number listed anywhere in Canada. The phone number listed goes to a different company, and this different company has 3 individuals linked to the Conservative Party of Canada. This entire thing was a sham created to be given to conservative leaning columnists, talk radio hosts, conservative leaning internet bloggers, and internet discussion groups like this one and Free Dominion. We conservatives were used in there cause and in doing so, the pro-life movement has done great harm to itself.
Not surprisingly, Charles doesn't make any friends. Quelle surprise. Just keep reading from there.
And, yes, people are starting to ask questions.
BONUS DUMBASSITUDE AT NO EXTRA CHARGE: If you weren't aware, the poster "SaintNobody" that Charles spars with is none other than the cripplingly ignorant SUZANNE who, when told to notice when the KLR Vu website was created, responds, "I have no indication. Do you know something about that?"
Um ... yes, SUZANNE, we know something about that -- we can check the domain registration records, you complete and utter dipshit:

Jesus, what a twatwaffle. And to think someone that thick actually managed to raise kids.
"The bloggers? Yeah, that's the table with all the hot chicks."
And a good and Blogging Tory bitch-slapping time was had by all last night with half a dozen of us congregating for beer, wine and various unidentifiable, deep-fried, greasy things in downtown Ottawa.
The hot chick component was ably represented by the irrepressible LuLu, deBeauxOs from Birth Pangs and Sooey from Sooeys.com, while Dr. Dawg, Sooey's partner in crime and myself did our best to lower the sophistication level as much as possible. *Belch*. *Grunt*.
It's a guy thing. Deal with it.

KLR Vu douchebagitude: Let the frantic backpedaling begin.
There's the setup:
This gets better and better ... At the bottom of KLRVU's sadly misspelled "Why Particpate?" page is a link stating that KLRVU is a member of MRIA Canada, the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association.
Except - ooopsie - if you search MRIA's corporate membership directory for KLRVU, "No Match" is found. How odd.
Then there's the desperate moving of goalposts (emphasis added):
Principal owner is a individual member of MRIA Assocation of Canada .
Could this possibly be more entertaining?
No.
I'm calling it.
At exactly 4:57 pm EST on July 26th, 2008, Susie ALL-CAPS became a parody of herself.
We're done here.
It’s true because I say it is.
Shorter SUZANNE: If I scream and yell and stamp my little feet while saying the same thing over and over and endlessly fucking over again, eventually this "Massive New Poll" will be taken seriously. By everyone. Really.
And this, boys and girls, is the art of propaganda in its purest form.
The KLR Vu Morgentaler poll: What was the point of it?
Overlooked in the current, savage disemboweling of the wretchedly dishonest KLR Vu poll is a fairly simple question -- why was it even done in the first place? Let's refresh our memories regarding the poll question:
Do you believe abortionist Henry Morgentaler deserves the Order of Canada?
And, sure, it might be amusing to know the answer to that but what was the point of running a poll to ask people their opinion about something that has already occurred and for which their opinion would have no value whatsoever?
As I've already pointed out, the OoC award to Dr. Morgentaler has happened. It's done. It's over. It's a fait accompli. And all the right-wing whining in the world isn't going to change that so I ask once again -- what was the point of the poll?
Typically, people commission polls because they want to use the results to affect something, perhaps to change peoples' opinions or something. More to the point, polls cost money, so who exactly decided to commission a poll and pay KLR Vu to do it, knowing full well that the results -- no matter what they were -- would mean absolutely nothing?
Deluded dingbats like SUZANNE want to argue that the KLR Vu poll was somehow legitimate. Fine, says I, believe what you want. For the sake of argument, say it was legitimate. And I ask again -- who gives a shit? It means nothing, it affects nothing, it changes nothing. And someone, somewhere, must have paid for it.
How fucking stupid was that?
And, in conclusion, I hate you all.
Shorter Five Feet of Screech Harpy: "Have I insulted cripples lately? No. OK, then ..."
When really stupid Blogging Tories blog.
Blogging Tory, Boy Detective and Krime Kracker Kid Steve Janke has some advice for Stephane Dion:
Message to Stephane Dion: Do your damn job, sir!
Um ... yes, Steve ... politicians doing their damned job. A fine idea. And any time your idol Captain "Standing up for" Canada wants to start, that would be just ducky.
Oh my.
The fun swirling around the fetus fetishists wildly humped "Massive New Poll" just gets more delicious with time.
Go. Read. JJ's done outstanding work exposing this piece of heinous fuckery.
CC ADDS: I am immensely amused that Blogging Tory and clinically deluded SUZANNE writes this:
JJ and the gang at unrepentant Old Hippie are clapping their hands in glee over the discovery that KLRVU Research-- the company that sponsored the latest Morgentaler poll-- is owned by the brother of pro-life MP Rod Bruinooge.
They're SURE that somehow, the fact it's owned by the brother of a pro-life MP automatically CHANGES the results.
This is from a member of the BTs, whose members went absolutely batshit fucking crazy earlier this week regarding Gloria Galloway and Mark Dunn, and how the fact that they're married was clear, obvious and unimpeachable evidence for anti-conservative media bias.
Yes, SUZANNE ... you and the rest of your hypocritical fuckwit BT colleagues are just the folks to be lecturing us on the irrelevance of ideological disclaimers.
Lord, but if that woman were any more retarded, she'd be Patsy Ross.
Down the memory hole, eh, Sandy?
And, lo, we have Blogging Tory "Alberta Ardvark [sic]" who fellates Stephen Harper thusly:
Congratulations to PM Harper and his Government for being in office 900 days.
For a list of what this government has accomplished please follow this LINK.
whereupon we follow said link, which refers us to the full, blinding wondrousness of Dear Leader Stephen Harper here where, curiously, we read:
Other concrete accomplishments include:
* Acquisition of an icebreaker — $720 million; (Link)
* Construction of eight Arctic offshore patrol ships; and
* Arctic deep water port — to be constructed.
which is, as I have opined, curious since it was only a month ago that hack propagandist Sandy Crux finally admitted:
a qualifier which is strangely missing from the current list of fictional achievements.
Apparently, corrections and retractions have a shelf life. I never knew that.

Bev Oda Joins The Con Spammers
What could be more delightful than to pick up the mail only to discover a fresh batch of conservative party propaganda? Well lemme tell you, the most delightful thing about this new batch of franking abuse is to note that it comes from my bestest pal Bev (Our Lady of the Limousine) Oda. This bit of Conservative mail spam, abuse of privilege and taxpayer funded campaigning is a bunch of tough talking gobble about youth crime.
Here's what slippery Bev, from over in Durham, wants to share with the residents of Kitchener.
The former Liberal government implemented a toothless Youth Criminal Justice Act which sent a terrible message to young people who were at risk of falling into the trap of violence and crime. Lenient laws meant these young punks only got a slap on the wrist for their crimes. It is little wonder that so many young hoodlums learned to easily dodge our justice system.
It's time thugs and hoodlums learned that Canada is a peaceful, secure country that will not tolerate lawlessness. Thanks to real leadership from Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservative Government, lawbreaking punks will have to take real responsibility for their actions, just like every other hardworking Canadian.
Hoo-fucking-ray Bev. So all those hard working In and Out crooks can look forward to meeting the full impact of our judicial system. That's good news. And a Prime Minister and government that turns a blind eye to the illegal imprisonment, torture and abuse of a Canadian citizen, captured as a child soldier will get marched off to the Hague to face charges I am sure. Certainly we can expect Ministers of the Crown to face the full consequence of abuses of privilege for personal gain and gratification. Call up the limo service Bev and hand in your frequent flyer card, you hypocrite. You want to throw the book at some kid that swipes a couple of hundred dollars worth of stuff after you've perched your spoiled ass in a limo to the tune of thousands of our dollars. Classy.
Perhaps a good way for youth crime to be stemmed would be for the people at the very top of our social ladder to set a little better example. Perhaps if our national police didn't kill people in airports with electrical weapons and try to cover up their deeds. Perhaps if our politicians didn't scam the system for power and profit. Perhaps if you and your ilk were just a little more honest, a little less greedy and selfish, then perhaps Bev, our young people might feel a bit less inclined toward crime. Perhaps if we rededicated ourselves to providing the very best of education and opportunity. Perhaps if we had built them a culture and a society that engendered hope rather than avarice, we might see some of that investment returned. Perhaps if our government wasn't eager to label them all as pirates to assuage the greed of foreign corporate cartels. Perhaps.
But no Bev Oda, you've happily crawled up to the trough and made a pig of yourself, racking up the limousine bills and making sure that you were well looked after. You were one of the folks that were more than happy to front for your corporate masters from abroad, trying to foist a broken, malicious copyright reform on Canadians. That little bit of crap and your bald faced profiteering/fundraising from the same folk you were supposed to be regulating got you shuffled. Bad optics Bev. Can't have bad optics. These same youths that you and your party of retrograde fools are happily demonizing as thugs and hoodlums are the same kids that fat Steve's boss, l'il George, promised not to leave behind.
But Bev honey, you and Harper and the Cons are happy to leave people behind aren't you. You're happy to leave Canadians rotting in foreign jails, you're happy to brush aside our own laws, ignore our treaty obligations and abdicate our morals if it suits your agenda and purpose. You're content to let Canadians rot, right up to the point where it starts to look bad in the press.
Then suddenly you'll ship a helpless idiot like Helena off to sip some beers and take some snap shots. Then you'll squeal and wince for the cameras and try to blame all of your errors and woes on the Liberals. And why is that Bev? Rhetorical, let me tell you why Bev, because you and your gang want to be immune to the very responsibility that you preach. You sneer at the notion of being held accountable for your actions and you will obstruct and manipulate and fib until the moon falls from the sky to get out from under. But in the mean time you want to build new jails and fill 'em up as fast as you can. Look how well it works down south, folks are making good money off the prison-industrial complex and that means it must be good, ain't that right Bev.
Anyway, I took the liberty of rescuing a little stack of your unwelcome propaganda, your wasteful, taxpayer funded partisan campaign literature and I'll be shipping it back to you Bev. Here's hoping you don't get a paper cut while you read through them. I'd hate for you to get a boo-boo and need to call a limo for an emergency, all day ride around the town to find a Band-aid.
As God is my witness …
I have no idea where to go with this:
Dan Froomkin reports that the latest list of White House staffers and their respective salaries has been released. Among the highest-paid White House staffers: Press Secretary Dana Perino, National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley, Counsel Fred Fielding, and Counselor Ed Gillespie. Froomkin highlights some interesting bits from the disclosure:
– After four years of stagnating at $30,000, the bottom of the payscale was finally raised this year to $33,400.
– There are fully 25 lawyers in the White House counsel’s office.
– Staci A. Wheeler, the White House’s director of fact checking, is — at $60,000 — either being paid way too little or way too much, depending on how you want to look at it.
Teh Boy Emperor has a director of fact checking ... the possibilities for snark are absolutely endless.
Your Conservative Party of Canada:
Standing up for white people everywhere.
P.S. As anyone can clearly read, the previous Liberal government was complicit in this fiasco as well, which means that the Stephen Harper Party of Canada will, naturally, deflect all criticism with, "But ... but ... but ... the Liberals."
Apparently, the Stephen Harper Party of Canada is still incapable of making any of its own decisions. That sort of thing is still just for grown-ups.
Third time lucky, eh, Twatsy? Or maybe not.
Shorter Twatrick Ross: "Despite having been mocked for it twice already, I see no reason to learn how to spell PZ's last name correctly. After all, it's simply an issue of credibility and, fortunately, I have none."
And this is why we mock them.
Blogging Tory "Hunter" summarizes her political acumen for all those who might have questions.
Holy, the lefties will try anything to make President Bush look bad. Personally, I like him. He handled 9/11 better than Clinton would have.
We’re done here.
P.S. Stephen Taylor must be sooooooo proud.

Holy tap-dancing Jesus ... monthly donations.
No cure for stupid.
Shorter Twatrick: "Even after being ridiculed mercilessly, I am still too fucking retarded to figure out how to spell PZ's last name."
P.S. By the way, Twatsy, it's not Michael Onfray, it's Michel Onfray. Honestly, when it comes to Twatsy, I've never run across such a monumental intellectual fraud. It's just jaw-dropping, isn't it?
Well, isn’t this interesting?
The fetus fetishists are furiously humping a new poll that proves, proves I tell you, the majority of Canadians think Morgentaler receiving the Order of Canada is just icky and gross and wrong.
Except — ooopsie — there appear to be some, shall we say, issues with KLRVU, the company that conducted the telephone poll on behalf of the Campaign Life Coalition. If, you know by issues, I actually mean that they don’t seem to have a phone number. No, really.
Now maybe it’s just me, but I would think that a company that conducts polls via telephone would have at least one phone number. But then I have been accused of being too demanding.
JJ and Birth Pangs are allllllllllll over this. Go. Read.
This could get delicious. JJ is on fire, kids.
CC adds: Yes, JJ is doing some damned fine detecting there, but does it really compare to the talents of Blogging Tory, Junior Detective and Krime Kracker Kid Steve Janke? I mean, his investigation into Cindy Sheehan's vagina is still the gold standard against which everyone else will be measured, no?
Stephen Taylor's Blogging Tories: Because even creepy, obsessed, Canadian panty sniffers need a place to call home.
Drinking cynically in Ottawa -- slowly ironing out the details.
So the plan is to congregate this coming Friday at 7 pm somewhere in downtown Ottawa, preferably somewhere that serves decent beer. Not surprisingly, it's by invite only, but if you think you deserve an invite, drop me an e-mail and we'll get you the details.

We get mail.
From the CC HQ mail bin, yes, they do care what we think:
Hello,
I’m from Fitzhenry & Whiteside and wondering if you would be interested in receiving a review copy of “Am I Dead Yet?” a book by former CBC journalist John Scully. It’s his memoir on his experience as a war journalist and critiques today’s media and journalism.
I think it’s a good match to your blog as it covers world media and events and would generate discussion. If you’re interested in receiving a copy please e-mail back with your address.
Hmmmmm ... an interesting selection, wouldn't you say?
I'm thinking we can pass that request on to CC HQ military cub reporter Matt Bin, who can provide us with said review. Admittedly, it won't be of the quality of Patsy Ross' waxing philosophical on the superior combat attributes of Godzilla versus King Kong but, then again, what is?
One of these things is just like the other ...
Sure, that's kind of tacky:
A white supremacist group in Calgary is recruiting new members with an offer to pay the security deposit on a new rental apartment if they move to the city.
A member of the Aryan Guard made the offer in an online posting at stormfront.org entitled "White Nationlist Relocation Program - Destination Calgary." ...
Calgary mayor Dave Bronconnier told reporters that the offer is "distasteful."
"It's quite surprising that people would have to resort to using financial support in order to encourage people to join their group," Bronconnier said. "I think that speaks to the support level that's here, which is non-existent."
In unrelated news:
N.S.-Ottawa reach deal in offshore dispute, province gets about $870 million
Nova Scotia will receive about $870 million from Ottawa as part of a deal resolving the so-called Crown share dispute, putting to rest a long-standing financial disagreement and solving a political problem for both the provincial and federal governments...
Diana Whalen, a Liberal member of the Nova Scotia legislature, said the settlement also serves a political purpose for the federal Conservatives in the region.
"It's the Harper government trying to do damage control because they completely messed up the Atlantic Accord," Whalen said.
Huh ... one man's bribe is another man's ... oh, hell, it's still a bribe, isn't it?
Well ... duh.
Shorter Susie ALL-CAPS: Since men can’t carry the babies, responsibility for an unwanted pregnancy rests squarely on the shoulders of all those cheap, slutty women. Soooooo, if you don’t want to get pregnant, don’t have sex.
No, really.
Sweet dancing Jesus, I need a drink and it's not even 9:30.
Oh please, oh please, oh please ….
Let this be true — the potential for hilarity would be off the charts (emphasis gleefully added).
John McCain will huddle with vice presidential aspirant Bobby Jindal during a trip to New Orleans later this week, sources close to the campaign confirm to The Fix.
McCain's trip to Louisiana on Wednesday was the cause of much head scratching in the political world as it was not in keeping with a week of planned stops in battleground states.
But, the meeting with Jindal, who has been the state's governor since 2007, suggests that McCain himself is deeply engaged in the process of picking his second-in-command and that the youthful Jindal is under serious consideration.
That would be this Bobby Jindal ... Governor of Louisiana, purported exorcist and dr. roy fave.
Maybe it’s just me but I think a VP with the ability to drive out Satan and all his eeeeevvviiiilllll minions would be outstanding.
H/T to Red.
Um ... what?
How cool ... I am being chastised for a lack of civility by someone who thinks beating mentally handicapped inmates to death is a real hoot, and that people being killed by Taser is not a big deal. Yes, Neo ... you are just the person to be upbraiding me on this topic. Really.
Canada's Blogging Tories: Because cracking wise about killing people is only tasteless when other people do it.

I has arrived.
Ottawa -- wine, crackers and goat cheese at Chez LuLu. I'll bet you're jealous. Yeah, you are. You totally are.
Not even if you were the last man on Earth.
Dear Billo:

Ends, loose and otherwise.
Almost packed and ready to roll, so let's hop in the wayback machine ever so briefly ... remember Sheriff Joe Arpaio? Yeah, he was a real sweetheart, wasn't he? And who -- I ask you, who -- would be so classless as to worship this murderous thug from afar?
Like you had to ask.
Canada's Blogging Tories: Because someone has to stand up for police brutality. And beating the mentally handicapped to death.
