Well, yes, that IS a more polite way of putting it.

Blogging Tory "Hunter" courageously stands up in her 12-step meeting and comes clean:

I Am Conservative!

There, I said it! I feel better.

It's something I don't say often enough, to people I know.

"Conservative": Because it's shorter and more easily-remembered than "mind-meltingly, ignorant retard."

You know, that was actually an interesting piece. And she's right - it DOES hit most of the key threads of contemporary conservatism - especially that sullen, thuggish sense of privilege usurped, and the utter incomprehension of anything beyond the tiny horizon of their own bigoted, hateful horizon.

What a bunch of self-pitying, deluded, ignorant shit.

It's always the "conservative" blow-hards shooting their mouths off about how Harris and Klein "keep their promises."

And what the fuck does sexual freedom have to do with the fact that her family's falling apart?

I find posts like hers creepy. She so thoroughly demonises non-conservatives that you have to wonder what will have to happen to achieve an ideal society in which conservativism (whatever the hell that means these days) prevails.

Internment? Extermination? It would be irresponsible not to speculate.

There are so many phrases in her piece that exemplify that sulky, smoldering, ignorant rage.

"I can be the one spouting off, and you can listen or not..."

"They are too busy protesting in some far off land I will never be rich enough to see..."

"They do not want their own children, but they want ours...."

It all reeks of fear, envy, anger, jealousy...but mostly an almost inconceivable, smug, self-satisfied blindness about people Not Like Her.

Yuck. No wonder she could blithely fantasize about trolling for compensation by getting their kids' heads blown off.

I think Kathy Bates should play her in the movie.

NOOOOOOO! Not Kathy Bates. It took her years to live down 'Misery'.

Someone more odious. Too bad Nancy Reagan doesn't act any more. Well, not in movies.
