And if I recall correctly, it was Canada's conservatives who, month after month after month, accused the Liberals of simply wanting to hang onto power.
Naw, I don't believe it. I mean, after all, the Conservatives are such MORAL and UPSTANDING folks that they'd NEVER be hypocritical, or lust for power, or try to deny rights to citizens just because their skins are brown... \
Well, as long as the New Conservatives keep doing it, it'll make it easier on others, is all I'm saying. It's not as if Proroguing Parliament was a stroke of political genius. It's completely backfired.

Oh, wait... it's not "opposite day"?
Oh. My bad.
The rules are simple. If liberals do it, it's bad. If conservatives do it, it's good.
The Manicheaen mindset is a wonderful thing.
I think they've blown a possible majority. Even if Ignatieff is a complete disaster, and he won't be, they'll get another minority at best.
... which means they'll keep on acting as if they had a majority - as they've been doing all along.
Right?
(sigh)
I with you on this one Mentarch.
More needs to be done.

Parliament had been prorogued. Therefore Parliament had always been prorogued.
The Liberal Party of the moment always represented absolute evil, and it followed that any past or future agreement with Liberals was impossible.
