One wonders how that kind of MASSIVE dishonesty contributes to a valid and honest political discourse in this country. One might even ask Stephen "Manning Centre for Building Democracy" Taylor how that supports basic democracy, but one guesses he's not terribly interested.

Taylor keeps using that word "democracy." I do not think it means what he thinks it means.
