Terrorism: S: (n) terrorism, act of terrorism, terrorist act (the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear)
Oh, dear.
And the WaPo's Steven Pearlstein has the courage to call them out for what they are:
The recent attacks by Republican leaders and their ideological fellow-travelers on the effort to reform the health-care system have been so misleading, so disingenuous, that they could only spring from a cynical effort to gain partisan political advantage. By poisoning the political well, they've given up any pretense of being the loyal opposition. They've become political terrorists, willing to say or do anything to prevent the country from reaching a consensus on one of its most serious domestic problems.
Terrorism: it's not just for swarthy, brown people anymore.

Anybody who smacks down these lying rightwing crazies in such a definitive way is going to receive death threats from said crazies. Sure hope that the WaPo pays for Pearlstein's bodyguards.
