As Mark Stein wrote in the prologue to America Alone: I'm a "social conservative." When the mullahs take over, I'll grow my beard a little fuller, get a couple of extra wives, and keep my head down. It's the feminists and gays who'll have a tougher time.
So Mark Steyn is admitting he's a coward? He's just gonna blend in and accept his new evil overlords ... some hero.
Careful, Lulu, you just called Muslim clerics "evil". Which, come to think of it, is what Steyn thinks of them. Ironic, isn't it, that you agree with him to call him a coward?

Yeah, I'm sure that's what Lulu did...agree with Mark Steyn.
It's his "intention" (I think it's actually just Stain's 'humour') to roll over and conform to any attacks on our established legal and cultural order that she's addressing, not his paranoia over the coming Islamification of Canuckistan.
I think you can find irony elsewhere, rather than go to such lengths to manufacture it. Leave that to hacks like Stain.
*sigh* This is what happens when people use non-declarative language around rightist jag-offs. They'll have it mean anything they want it to mean to sneer at you.
"if I don't take it out of context, I can't make the joke, can I?"
and here's where my trolling diverges from that of the circle-jerkers over at bitchieville: i never need to take anything out of context, and i always have a legitimate point to make.
is there any chance of you confirming that this - 149.99.76.55 - is fergus's ip#? i got sock-puppeted on my blog a few weeks ago; figured it was fergus, cowering behind a mask.

No, he's admitting he's a collaborator.
Mark DeFarge, knitter extraordinaire.
Steyn's flippancy is really annoying sometimes.
Also, would kill Brian to spell his name correctly?
Where did you dredge that bit of intellectual sludge up from?
(Somehow, spouting Steyn as some kind of intellectual heavyweight's right up there with quoting Stockwell Day)

It's a joke, Ti-guy. Surely you have something substantial to get upset about?
Guess I should have used one of those emoticon thingys.
Why Fergus, it's been ages since you've been by to troll. Thanks for totally taking my snark out of context.
I'm sure the last you want to do is highlight what a cowardly collaborator Mark Steyn, hero of Teh Right really is ... after all, he's admitting it.
Lulu, if I don't take it out of context, I can't make the joke, can I?

btw, cc,
is there any chance of you confirming that this - 149.99.76.55 - is fergus's ip#? i got sock-puppeted on my blog a few weeks ago; figured it was fergus, cowering behind a mask.

oops! my bad; i've got fergus confused with fenris. like there's any difference....

Still, ferg is using the tired old "it was only a joke" when called for claiming you agree with someone because, well, you both breathe air.
Read it slower, Libby, it'll come to you. Or not, which is more likely I think.
