Maybe it’s just me …

As CC has so ably demonstrated down here, Canada’s Conservatives are a lot of things but “Compassionate” just doesn’t seem to be one of them. So it makes me wonder — why is that every time I read one of SUZANNE's or JoJo's or Hunter's (we can’t forget Hunter) or any of the other so-called “Christian” conservatives’ spittle-flecked ravings, I always think of Reverend Rubber Suit. Or Ted Haggard, pastor and married father of five with a rather interesting propensity for meth-buying and gay hookers. Or Senator Larry “Wide Stance” Craig (R-My-own-Private-Idaho).

Do you think this indicates some kind of failing in my character? Because I’m really okay with that.
