It’s bad enough that moronic wingnuts keep reviving that particular dead horse for their own self-serving purposes, I really don’t see the point in CC doing it for his.

Red, they'd revive it anyway, and at the least opportune moment. That's what makes them wingnuts.
If I had a blog and had been subjected to wingnut pogrom, I'd paste the issue all over my blog and wear it like scarlet letter.
I guess. Personally, I subscribe the "two wrongs don't make a right" theory, although I've been known to make exceptions from time to time.
