Dr. Roy must feel soooooo much better.

Seriously ... since he has such an inappropriate mancrush on Lord Black.

Conrad Black says he's adapting well to life behind bars and doesn't expect to run into any problems while serving his six-and-a-half-year prison term in the United States.

"I am doing fine. This is a safe and civilized place and I don't anticipate any difficulty," Black said in an e-mail to The Canadian Press from his Florida prison.

This comment from dr. roy is funny
HM PM Stephen Harper has supported the people of Tibet. HRH the Prince of Wales will be meeting the Dalai Lama. I think beside these meeting with the Dalai Lama, an Olympic boycott is one of the only ways to make the Chinese commies pay attention.

Actually dr roy, while some believe in the a boycott of the Olympics, an economic boycott would be much more effective...
Then again, after Israel's measure response and our treatment of Afghan prisoners, our standing up for human rights, we are the ones that really should be teaching how it's done right?

Of course he's doing fine, he's in the Club Med of prisonhood. Remind me again, how many people did this man ruin. Yet, his buddies want to bring him back to Canada so his big buddies in the government can parole him...parole him from what? Yet, Brenda Martin sits rotting in a Mexican jail on a trumped up charge that has been refuted, and Conrad's buddies say...what do they say. Oh, yea, she belongs in jail? How many people did she ruin? Sorry, got carried away.
To build on the thread about movie quotes, there are some days that I wish Klaatu had not intoned "Gort, Klaatu barada nikto".

I refuse to take any personal responsibility for all of that, although my sense of wanting to continue to call myself Canadian has been sorely tested.

CWTF...can you encourage the Bloc to run a candidate in Don Valley West in the next election?

Conrad Black or Brenda Martin? Someone remind me again which one is the Canadian citizen and which one isn't.

Oh, appears to be time to bring this one up again, even if I think Tal Bachman's another idiot. Don't foget to read Part Deux.

Bonus Dr. Roy from his 'Our French Allies' post:
The times of Londom is reporting that President Sarkozy is sending !000 troops to help in Afghanistan.

How does this man still have a license to pratice medicine? Does he have someone to dress him in the morning?

It's ironic when they seem to be the party with the most principles...

Yeah, that was enjoyable until I came to this:

"For what it's worth, Mark Steyn has got to be the most talented journalist out there. Why he isn't more recognized is hard for me to fathom."

It must be true that getting near the Blacks cause one's brain to liquefy.

Yeah, one would think Tal's one and only hit should have been titled 'I'm So High'. Did he mention he was raised LDS? Might explain a lot.

Look at the bonus side of Black’s incarceration… he gets to be almost entirely free of that wretched harpy Barbara Amiel for six whole years!

Let's just hope she does not decide to be more prolific in her writings - that's torture enough for sane people..
