Go. Watch. And when the next idiot wingnut tells you that things are just peachy keen in Iraq, drag them outside and club them with a tire iron. Because they deserve it.
In the US Army, paperwork trumps reality. So when the troops say they have "no record" of what happened to half the submachine guns and automatic pistols they gave the Iraqi Army and police, that means, technically speaking, these things are gone and no one has a clue.
In reality, everyone knows exactly what happened to all those submachine guns and pistols. Only the US gives more guns to Iraqi insurgents than Iran.
Now as far as Iran's sales of weapons to Iraqi insurgents goes — see — Dear Leader has organized this worldwide economic boycott. Means Iran has no ready access to hard currency (dollars, euros, steerling, yen). Only ones in sight have access to hard currency are Iraqi insurgents, who get their cash from Saudis, Kuwaities, Egyptians & Jordanians. Strange bedfellows & all, cuz these guys are strictly Sunnis, who are going to turn their Iranian weapons on Iranians and their Shiite brothers in Iraq, just as soon as they get rid of the Americans, but at least it helps the cash-flow in Tehran.

But... but... they handed over seven provinces!
And they painted a school!
And a mosque that was blown up wasn't totally destroyed!
