That's not funny!

It is completely unacceptable, even as a lame attempt at humour, to joke about the deliberate death of the leader of a Canadian political party. It's classless, it's shameless, it's disgusting, and it deserves every ounce of unequivocal condemnation we can muster:

Whoops, sorry, wrong humourous suggestion of the murder of Canadian politicians. Ah, there we go.

Sorry, I keep getting the two of those confused. My bad.

Typical Small Dead Animals.

It's very hard to turn people into biofuel. It's far easier to harvest their fat to make explosive, a la Fight Club, and use them to blow things up.

Kate would love it. She'd get to say "Liberal terrorist bombs."

I'm sure Steve called Kate and told her to post it. They're all in league together.

She tips the hat to Mike Brock. I wonder if that little psychotic's planning to go off the boil again?

But that's different. This is clearly a joke, the other thing was... a serious threat! And besides, this isn't an official Conservative Party publication. Totally different. ;)

as expected, the lib joke was more clever. which is to say, the lib joke was actually clever, even though it was a new take on an old joke, and it's not particularly topical. a cheap laugh, really.

now, i'm mostly indifferent to the two jokes; both are more or less innocuous, and both are low brow. however, kkkate's joke reveals wishful thinking. even though i see more of this vindictiveness coming from the right, i see plenty of it from the left. been guilty of it myself. here's hoping we'll all henceforth choose the high road (and to the absolute certainty that wingnuts will hardly ever).
