Well, that's kind of a downer ... that you might go to all that trouble to get a potentially hefty fine, only to be told, "Yeah, we're kind of busy here, but good luck with that."

If only someone at Rebel News could clarify this apparent contradiction. Maybe someone should ask Adam Soos.

Why, Tanya, what an excellent question. And it seems to me that there's a possible story here if some enterprising journo wants to follow up with Ms. Baltzer and see how this plays out.
I suspect the phrases "fine print" and "discretion" will be involved, but that's just a guess.
ABOUT MS. TANYA BALTZER ... There is no point in taking her seriously ... you need only peruse her brief Twitter history to see why.

So in all seriousness - the Rebel appears to be making promises it can't possibly keep, playing fast and loose with CRA regulations, and actively encouraging Canadians to break the law. At what point does all this become legally actionable?
