Apparently, it's always Justin Trudeau's fault.

SHRIEK ... SHRIEK ... SHRIEEEEKKKKKKKKK ...

Ignore, of course, the 2,000+ already-dead Albertans:

as that would fuck up the narrative.

Keean Bexte: "Hey, this disease mostly only kills old people, and only 64 deaths per 100,000. What's all the fuss about?"
Also Keean: "What? There MAY be 1 adverse reaction per 100,000? AND YOU SERIOUSLY EXPECT ME TO TAKE A CHANCE WITH ODDS LIKE THAT?!"

I heard through the grapevine that this is exactly why Ezra finally gave Bexte the boot -- that Bexte simply couldn't control himself and spewed obvious defamation every change he got, thinking he was invincible because he was a "reporter."

While Ezra loves to smear Trudeau every chance he gets, he at least has the sense to do it indirectly and ambiguously so that he doesn't cross the line. Bexte, though, just comes right out and says that Trudeau has blood on his hands. It wouldn't surprise me if that little twit eventually just flat-out calls Trudeau a "murderer" and demands he be arrested and charged with murder. With no one to rein him in, I think Bexte is headed for total disaster.

There was a very strange series of posts he put up relating to the World military games in 1999 in China. They were "leaked" from an "insider" - obviously some unhappy military buddy of Keean's - and most were simply absurd whining (he complained, for example. that the flagbearer of the Canadian team followed protocol and bowed in passing the reviewing stand, which he characterized as a grovelling surrender to the commies.
But the sequel posts were a bit more problematic. He circulated a "top secret, leaked document" which, he said, proved that Canadian soldiers had brought COVID back to Canada, and Justin Trudeau was covering it up. The basis for this assertion was:
- his secret informant said some people on the plane back seemed ill (gosh. A bunch of soldiers traveling twice through a twelve hour time change, returning to Canada the night after a major competition, felt ill on the plane? Quel surprise!"
- DIAND circulated a letter later in the spring telling everyone who had been on the trip that no-one was at risk from the trip (which had occurred before the first diagnosed case), but that if they wanted to get tested for their own peace of mind, they should.
The Rebel spun this into the usual elaborate fantasy about Theresa Tam being secretly in thrall to the Commie WHO and the Chinese government (she's CHINESE, you know!!). But Keean was essentially accusing the PM of literal treason and conspiracy.
I have no idea whether the young man is, in fact, suffering from actual clinical problems, or is simply trying to carve out a media niche for himself on the crazier edge of the Rebel mob. But whatever the case - it will not end well. I hope.

Previous anonymous: Your last sentence matches the muttering I've heard from a number of sources -- that Bexte does not quite have a full picnic basket of sandwiches, and was so unmanageable journalistically that Ezra had to get rid of him for fear of attracting more lawsuits. Whether Bexte unleashed ends well or badly remains to be seen.

If, in fact, Bexte got the boot for not being able to control his impulses to lie to people, then one might take away the idea that there is little difference between Bexte at the ripe old age of 26(ish) and Ezra at the same age ...
