Sci-Fi Theatre.
I'll tell you a little secret about me, boys and girls, I'm a huge dork on the inside. Strange but most people don't usually believe it when I tell them that ... maybe it's the shoes. But I digress. To indulge my inner geek, I think it's time to introduce something new here at CC-HQ.
And to start things off — part 1 of the premiere episode of Doctor Who's third season starring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and introducing Freema Agyeman as his new traveling companion, Martha Jones.

Damn you! Now I will be surfing all night looking for season 2 episodes (season one was brilliant!).
Damn, where is my pocket protector?
Have they started the Nw Season yet?
My Dad got me hooked on Dr Who when I was kid, and we watch on PBS.
When I saw then Doctor Who series a few years ago (while I was in Mexico of all places) I was in heaven.
The new series as seriously up the quality of production and scripts, yet still keeps the childish, sci-fi quality of the earlier series.
If we're spilling 'secrets' --- that's the first snippet I've seen of any part of 'The New Series' with David Tennant. My dorkiness has had others ways of expressing itself over the three years.
Love ya Lulu, but any geek worth his salt is already on to season four. By means fair or foul. This is where the smiley face icon would go.
But it only matters that you are watching and enjoying. Make sure you watch The Runaway Bride before embarking on season 4. But I am sure you have done that already. Geek.
So, Martha or Rose?
For me it's Donna.
Smith and Jones was an excellent season opener. Possibly the best of the revival. And I love Rose and Martha, but Catherine Tate's Donna just blows them away. The fourth season in the UK has been a little uneven, but she's been one of the strengths.
I'm just off of seeing "Silence in the Library" by Stephen Moffat. Absolutely totally BRILLIANT! Never has "Hey, who turned out the lights!" been used to scarier effect.
Alright, Donna it is. She certainly "takes the piss" out of the Dr. more than some of the other companions ever have.
I haven't seen Season 4 yet - and it hasn't been for lack of trying. It's just really damned hard to find on teh intert00bz but ... there appears to be several episodes on Youtube. After we get through Season 3, I'll start on Season 4. And David, while I did like Rose immensely, I have to say that I'm more partial to Martha. I'm just not sure why.
So what do you guys think of "Torchwood"?
I miss Rose...
...oh, and SOME of us are now half-way through Series Four! :)
Sorry: Re: Torchwood...
First Season, first four shows... meh. Got better... loved Season 2... hoping (though no official word) for Season 3.
Wife and kids live and die now by Barrowman, Tennant, and Eccleston... in that order.
Lulu, e-mail me off-list. I can help get you that Season 4 fix.
As for Torchwood: it's okay. But I much prefer the Sarah Jane Adventures. I reviewed them here.
Actually, if you're interested, you can check out my other Doctor Who related reviews here. Be warned, though, that they ca be spoilery.
Oh wow!
Saved the YouTube page with these to my favorites.
Looks like I'll be busy for days.
