it is a non-binding reccommendation, so I think we can assume that Harper, being Harper, will do whatever the hell he wants and he wanted to send Canadian soldiers to Iraq when the war started. This resolution will bring the government a little negative publicity and not much else. They've already demonstrated that they cannot be shamed or embarrassed into doing the right thing - the only way to do this is to introduce legislation, not a reccomendation.

There's no way to do anything with this government except to kick it the fuck out the House and make sure it stays out for a generation.
