It's because they lie. All the time.
If you want to know why we on the Left have so little patience with residents of the right-wing Moron-o-sphere, it's because they lie. Incessantly. Relentlessly. All the time. Without fail.
Exhibit A: One Patrick Ross, who was caught lying here. Peruse the comments -- take your time and appreciate how thoroughly Patsy was busted as a lying douchebag.
And yet, only minutes ago, he left a comment here, in which he deliberately perpetuates what he now knows to be false.
Pathological. Absolutely pathological.

He's really dug his own grave. By being so obnoxious in mischaracterising what someone else has said (and he knows he's doing it), you just simply can't trust what he asserts about anything. If Patsy told me he made a poo-poo this morning, I'd have to see notarised documentation before I'd even begin to believe him.

Well, that could be due to the rancid Mars Bar he put in his back pocket several weeks ago, and which he forgot.
...that's what he'd tell you, anyway.
He's also busy making a complete arse of himself over at my place. What useless pantload.
So Patty refused to put the "staring down the barrel of a 12 gauge shotgun" into the obvious context that someone else might go postal, claiming "In what context do you think this is actually going to be any different?"
Then he tries to give an example of a judge on a terrorism case receiving a phone call from someone describing his childrens' school schedules with all the detail that anyone wanting to do harm would need.
Why did he put it in the CONTEXT of a judge on a terrorism case? Why not just say someone called up and knew the kids's school schedules (like their teacher would)? Would it seem like the teacher issued a threat too?
