JUXTAPOSE!

Conservatives who believe unabashedly in an invisible sky fairy, a talking snake, a 6,000-year-old Earth and a worldwide flood for which one man built an Ark that saved two of every animal on the planet will now insist that refusing to get vaccinated is just "following the science."

Sure, why not?

Theopolitical discussion with a modern Conservative Christian:

Us: "God really was a bit of a violent prick, though, wasn't he? Torturing Job, sending she-bears to murder and eat children for calling his prophet 'bald'... not a very nice Guy."
Them: "You obviously haven't read the New Testament, with Christ's message of love."
Us: (Clear throat, begin reading aloud through the works of Sheila Gunn Reid and Drea Humphries...)
