Come on, CC ... I've worked 7 straight days of 12-14 days (with an all-nighter on Sunday into Monday) and you want me to get all sciencey? That's just mean.
As long as there's a ready supply of compressed air that can be used the compress air to power these things, we're golden. We wouldn't have to use some other energy source for that, would we?

I say we just put all the cars at the tops of hills. Then they can coast everywhere. No need to start the engine, as long as the A/C still works.
Sorry, I read the article earlier today, and had forgotten about the little ramps.
Also, I've been drinking. Something about the Order of Canada and SUZANNE losing her mind.
So the cars climb the little ramps to compress the air, and nobody minds burning (and paying for) the additional fuel, since these compressed air folks have their hearts so in the right place.
And the extra fuel that gets burned doesn't count against global warming and stuff like that there, because its aim is true.
