BREAKING: Hell freezes over in Washington, D. C. Bush agrees to withdraw troops. http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archives/individual/2008_02/013216.php (OK, he agreed to withdraw Turkish troops; not American troops.)
I recall that cold snap in Edmonton, though it was in the pre-celcius era. My dad still has the little cutout certificate the Edmonton Journal carried in the paper then.
Supposed to be sunny and above zero by Sunday, quitcherbitchin'. I'm more worried that we apparently have more snow on the way, dunno where the hell we're gonna put it.
Me vs. You Wadda wuss! I had to spend last week dealing with Polar Bear Kisses (frostbite on the cheeks) after walking around with -60 windchill for work.

sounds warm to me.
You can only break up with God so many times, you know.
At least that's what I heard.
Yes, lovely standing in the wind at Queensway station waiting for the fucking 101, which never comes on time...
Plus 11 and rain here today. Gotta love the Canuck desert. :)
Crabby, I can break with God as many times as I want ...

I once lived in Edmonton when it didn't break -30 C for a month, so quit your whining. ;)

No, no, no. No more snow - I've had enough. I'm running away to the Caribbean. Who's with me?
We need to buy LuLu a power snow shovel... Get that PayPal button fired up.
A shovel? Feh. I pay someone to do my snow removal - this girl is a lot of things but stupid isn't one of them, my dear Red.
I used to like shoveling snow (manually). It was kind of a meditative experience.

Fortunately, it has warmed up some here.

Cozumel is always a nice spot.
How's that initiative to make the Turks & Caicos part of Canada coming along. I am so totally for that!
Growing up I had to shovel the snow manually... My parents were stingy. At least I got my brother to do most of the work hehe.
And this is the first normalish winter we've had in like 10 years. Enjoy it while it lasts.
yet another argument in favor of annexing the Turks and Caicos
