Yes, Jonathan, that's what they did. Well, except for these guys. And this guy. And this guy. And this poor bastard.

The rest of them are all guilty as hell, though, no doubt about it.

Gee, it's almost like they should have been treated as prisoners of war or something. Too bad nobody thought of it at the time, eh?

Also, I can think of one additional connection to America that these guys have: they were taken by Americans to an American extra-judicial torture prison. For which, of course, the prisoners have only themselves to blame.
