What always gets me about this kind of idiocy is one step back. It's not so much "How would you ever get this idea?" it's more "Why would you think if this was a real thing nobody would have thought of it before? Tens of thousands of researchers for over a hundred years but you figure they never came up with your little stroke of genius? Why would you want to show your ignorance by saying it before, like, googling to find out if it made a lick of sense?"
