Blogging Tory "Dr. Roy" is so all about possible McCain VP contender Bobby Jindal. Which is kind of hilarious because, for a Rhodes Scholar, Jindal is a bit of a nutcase.
And now, dear God, it just gets better:
Bobby Jindal, another clown in the body politic
Oh, my. Bobby Jindal was on TV, and he got asked about evolution. Here's his answer to a question about whether he had doubts about evolution.
One, I don't think this is something the federal or state government should be imposing its views on local school districts. You know, as a conservative I think government that's closest to the people governs best. I think local school boards should be in a position of deciding the curricula and also deciding what students should be learning. Secondly, I don't think students learn by us withholding information from them. Some want only to teach intelligent design, some only want to teach evolution. I think both views are wrong, as a parent.
Super. So Jindal's a religious loon and a scientific illiterate. You can see why Dr. Roy is taken with him.

dr roy is taken by Jindal mostly because he's indian. The religious loon and a scientific illiterate are only bonuses.
There's no way McCain will pick Jindal. He's too young for one thing.
If I'm wrong, I'll eat Werner Patels' hat.
Yeah.. that way we can have the retards in Florida decide that Mathematics is satanic and refuse to teach it. Whereas in Backwater PA they can toss out Physics and in Tennessee they can have mandatory Bible Geography.
So that way in about 18 years we can have a full crop of completely brainwashed morons we can send off to die in some foreign hell hole we created. Best of all we won't have to pay 'em because they won't be able to count past however many fingers and toes they still have.
YAY!
Damnit... I love my country but I'm really starting to fucking despise some of my countrymen.
The amazing thing is that Jindal was a major in Biology and he professes to want the "best science" taught in schools. Obviously the guy is as disingenuous as the day is long. I guess that's what it takes to get elected in Louisiana.
Actually, Bobby Jindal is way cool.
Bobby may not be an African-American but fifty years ago, folks in Louisiana would have called Bobby "colored" and relegated him to the colored entrance and latrine. (Colored Catholics consistently have had a substantial presence in New Orleans.)
Bobby may be a hopeless panderer but the fact that Louisiana elected a colored governor is an indication that things actually are changing in the USA.
