One of the sleazier GOP tactics of late has been to propose legislation that would require presidential candidates to produce their birth certificates:"Fellow Republican Congressman John Campbell is a co-sponsor of legislation that would in the future force presidential candidates to produce their birth certificates."By way of snarky response, I think some Democrat should propose similar legislation that would require candidates to prove that they are not the anti-Christ.
I wish we got to study life-relevant books the way these people study bible. Like I wish we wanted to decipher every word of Crime and Punishment or On the Road. To quote one of the comments on that site, "and now on to the important stuff!"
You know why the right wing is so happy to spread this kind of stuff around even when they don't actually believe what they're saying?Think of what the maniac Pro-Lifers do to abortion doctors: spread the lies, spread the hate, fire up their hot-blooded believers and then, eventually... some nut grabs up his rifle and tries to do something about it.And of course, once it's done, EVERYONE who had anything to do with inciting it denies everything.
