With all due respect, Raphael, fuck right off.

Sadly, while the good Raphael is out, his evil, dumbass twin takes control of the keyboard and goes all Dr. Phil on us, lamenting the state of the blogosphere:

Why Are Bloggers So Vile?

Gosh, Raph, I don't know, but I'm guessing I could focus on your Blogging Tories and write an equally salient piece entitled "Why Are Bloggers So Stupid and/or Dishonest?" But I digress; let us not be distracted here. Back to business.

So, Raphael wants to weep over the current conditions in BlogWorld, and where does he start? Oh, come on, like you had to ask:

Canadian Cynic is a noted critic of conservatism, not necessarily in ideology, but in manifested form which seems, to him, destructive in it's purposes. It's his freedom of speech to espouse these often misguided beliefs, although he does quite often expose blatant ignorance where it is most offensively opined. And yet he's been known to have quite famously "crossed the line", which led to his current array of favourite stalkers and bounty hunters who chase his real identity:

With all due respect, Wanda, fuck you and your grief. It's not the job of the rest of Canada to continue to let its soldiers die just so you can sleep better at night. At this point, I don't give a rat's ass about making you feel better for your loss now that I know that the price is other peoples' lives. Fuck you and the politically-motivated, neo-con propaganda train you rode in on.

That's right -- for evidence of the incivility on this side of the ideological aisle, Raph unsurprisingly feels the need to go back over eight months. Yes, that's some overwhelming evidence, isn't it? Whoo hoo, that incivility is just a torrent, isn't it, Raph? One purely wonders how you can keep your head above water. But it gets better.

Raphael curiously thinks I issued a mea culpa thusly:

And to Cynic's credit, he offered a meek and mild sort-of apology:

Yes, from the comments section back here, it would appear that, at long last, I have no sense of decency left at all and, upon reflection, the majority of commenters would seem to have a point.

It was, I admit, beyond the bounds of decorum to have told grieving mother and convenient neo-con propaganda mouthpiece Wanda Watkins to fuck right off. Instead, I should have suggested that she was merely enjoying the death of her son immensely, since that would have been the right wing thing to do.

Oh, for fuck's sake, Raphael, that wasn't an apology, it was sarcasm -- it was a satirical reference to right-wing, shrieking hatemonger Ann Coulter, when she spoke of the 9/11 widows thusly:

"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzies. I have never seen people enjoying their husbands’ death so much."

Now do you get it, Raphael? Lord, but I really hate having to explain references to popular culture -- it just deflates the snarkiness of the joke entirely, don't you think? But here's Raphael, finally taking his credibility out behind the barn and blowing it away like Old Yeller, when he criticizes TGB's Dana who wrote (and entirely justifiably, I might add)

Die in miserable agony Mrs Thatcher.

Does that seem hard hearted?

Tough shit.

Its little enough payback.

Apparently, this display of hard-heartedness gives Raphael an absolute case of the pearl-clutching vapours and yet, curiously, he has nothing to say about one Kathy Shaidle who writes (in a post I even linked to earlier):

Just keep telling yourself: one day all the hippies will be dead... one day all the hippies will be dead...

Strangely, though, that example doesn't make Raphael's list of bloggy-related literary unpleasantries. In fact, one searches in vain through Raphael's psychological examination of the blogosphere for a single example of vileness from his Canadian conservative colleagues. No mention of Kathy Shaidle's contempt for poor people or grieving mothers, no reference to Kate McMillan's overt racism and Nazism, not a sentence about right-wing screeching, hate-filled mouth-breathers like "Neo Conservative" or "Canadian Sentinel" or anyone else. Fancy that. With all that blog space to fill, it apparently escapes Raphael that there might be some delighful examples of his point over there on his park bench.

(To Raphael's credit, he does mention one right-wing, Calgary-based psychotic dingbat, but only in the context of how that person was responding to me, so it's as if he can't quite chide his half of the Blogosphere without somehow tying it back to those nasty, uncivil leftists in some way.)

P.S. By the way, Raphael, you twit -- the whole point of this post was to mock Kathy Shaidle by insulting her using precisely the same insults she uses against others. Or had the inherent satire there eluded you entirely?

AFTERSNARK: There'e one more point I want to make here, and it's why Raphael is now banned from commenting at this blog until I see a full, unqualified and front-page correction and apology from that ignorant, little weasel.

After referring to the infamous WW incident, Raphael has the nerve to write:

It's frightening when bloggers take themselves and their opinions so seriously that they threaten people in the physical world. Or when they attract those who do so. Cynic's vile insult to a grieving mother is an example of a poisoned political process which is so tainted that one cannot even begin to form enough common ground to provide mutual and respectful discourse and discussion. When one has not even enough respect for people that they are unable to contain their desire to see harm come to them, you are no longer dealing with a person who has a stable grasp on what being a "human" is.

Fuck you, Raphael. Seriously, fuck you in every possible way that can be done. Regardless of how you want to read what I wrote, at no time did I ever "threaten" WW or wish "harm" to come to her. Ever. And until I see a serious retraction for that implication, you are so banned from playing in this sandbox anymore.

Now go away and grow up, and when you think you can interact with the adults again, you know where to find us.

She's going to have to disabuse herself of this little fantasy before she starts calling for concentration camps and final solutions for hippies.

Hippies never die. Every generation produces a hippie-like counter-culture. Every generation seems to produce a cohort of genocidal lunatics as well.

I have a number of issues in reply, but I don't want to waste my valuable coffee time constructing a rebuttal if you're going to do the Dave at TGB and cowardly delete it. So I'll await your answer here, and sufficed to say, you deserve no such apology for your persistently, consistently, abusive presence on the interwebs.

[Although the last comment thread did provide some of the highest reading entertainment I've seen in 3 weeks]

Dear Raphael: What part of the following do you just not get?

"There'e one more point I want to make here, and it's why Raphael is now banned from commenting at this blog until I see a full, unqualified and front-page correction and apology from that ignorant, little weasel."

In other words, I want to see that apology on your blog, not buried in my comments section.

P.S. Love the way you change the subject, Raph. Very Blogging Tory of you.

I get the feeling the only thing they would understand is a good kicking to the scrotum....

Oh, God...Raphael...you're digging yourself into a deeper hole. There would be nothing easier to avoid this blog's presence on the web...you just don't have to read it.

Not like the other troll-breeding blogs on the Right, the fans of which rise like locusts to hijack everyone else's discussions every time some hapless liberal/progressive/lefty gets caught in their sights.

Ahem! Get this straight Raphael. You get yourself deleted at TGB because of your attitude and behaviour.

Stop behaving like a troll and perhaps you won't get treated like one.

Dave:

I had no idea that you'd kicked Raphael's sorry ass out of your playpen. But I'm not at all surprised that you'd do it for his behaviour, and not simply his ideology. Although, come to think of it, both of those are embarrassingly infantile.

I've pretty much had enough of him here as well. He's just too schizophrenic to deal with anymore.

As tired as I grew from his incessant circular arguments, I found the bobbing and weaving rather entertaining.

I can't recall which post it was, but he crossed Cheryl with a comment which was typically dismissive, insulting and irrelevant. That got his comment status reduced.

Nice try Jeffy. You're still a douchebag and a complete fucking LIAR.

And don't tell me about reading comprehension problems, you illiterate, shit-flinging baboon.

Please don't respond to "alpha doofus" -- I'll be deleting his comments just as fast as they show up.

Nice try Jeffy. What a lame effort. Exactly what I would expect from a vacuous miscreant like you.

Boo,hoo,hoo,hoo,hoo!

Dave, Cheryl was absolutely correct, and absolutely fabulous in her put down of Raphie. As a lurker on many blogs, I cannot understand why you allowed him to pollute the discourse for so long a period. He was here, and at the Beav, and JJ's and Dr Dawg for one reason only - to establish links and gain a readership. Even Zorpheous admitted in a recent thread that he read Raphie. how many blogs he has insinuated himself is anyone's guess, however, he is/was a marketing protegy. Unfortunately, he just couldn't wait for the crowning touch, that of legitimacy. He is, was, and always shall be a person who is out for Raph, only for Raph, always for Raph. I'm very happy that Dave, no make that Cheryl, banned his a@@ and CC, you have done the same - congratulations. I'll go back to lurking now. Keep up the goood work you guys and gals.

Oh man, don't be hard on Raphie, he's no Alphard or Richard.

Raphie I think is somewhat new and still has that new blogger smell to him. There is a streak of honesty about him that isn't found in BTer's very much now a days.

Especially since bloggers like James and Andrew bailed on the BTer's.

I'm not saying Raphie should get a free pass or even a free ride, but I think he is still trying to find his legs. There are several rightwingers whom have openly declared Raphie to too leftwing and atleast he identify Richard for the twit that he is (ya I'm being polite, too tired to be honestly rude)
