As you can see, it is now three months exactly since the ruling which granted me an increase from two per cent to five per cent interest on the outstanding amount owed to me by Patrick "Outlaw Debtor" Ross:
ROD: Simple math shows that, after three months of Patrick totally ignoring his financial obligations to me, his debt has increased by almost exactly $1,300, and is going up around $440 per month -- a figure that obviously increases slightly as each month goes by.
And remember, the above court-calculated outstanding amount does not include several thousand in unpaid cost awards, including the most recent $3,000. So, yes, the *real* outstanding amount is well over $110.000.
Sorry all, I've been dealing with a death in the family so the information from my side slowed.
If one were to punch in RN 476 535 528 CA into the tracking box on the Canada Post website, you'd see that once again my special mail to Patrick has been sitting awaiting pick up for several days now. No one answered the door for delivery (shocking right?), so it's been at the Lloyd Mall post office for days.
This is the problem when you file your lawsuit where you work and generally live and give a different address for service to hide from your previous deplorable actions.
And while I tried for a hearing this week, hoping to get a simple ruling from the bench, the Judge wants an in person hearing so Patrick can explain why he filed this new lawsuit in Alberta after knowing 5 years ago in Saskatchewan he wasn't legally able to continue in his last attempt at this shit when I filed my motion to dismiss.
Patrick has some explaining to do, and now I'm going to add that service to him has been next to impossible and has a serious history of this.
That's all I have for now, but I will be posting my Statement of Defense when I get back as promised.
Regular readers can safely assume I have provided Mr. Skinner with years worth of Patrick's history with me, emphasizing his dodging, weaving and evasion to avoid service, and the games he likes to play.
When Patrick goes before a judge shortly, he's going to have about 11 years worth of reprehensible behaviour to answer for. Count on it.
MgS: As I understand it, the hearing will be in Grande Prairie, so if Patrick doesn't show, given that he currently lives and works there, he is in deep fucking shit.
@CC: No doubt he will claim that he never heard about it (or some other half-assed excuse) - not unlike his repeated claims not to have been served papers in his dispute with you.
As for the consequences of acting like a dumbass? Well - I suspect he will get off with slightly less harsh punishments than Kijiji Johnston has been getting, but the courts will show their displeasure, I'm sure.

Rogue Nerd One (and CC): Thank you for your service.
At a wild guess, the court date for that in person hearing will come, and go, with nary sign of Mr. Ross at the court.

Twatsy: "Hey boss, I need a few days off to go back to Lloyd for a few days. Gotta watch AEW Dynamite in Ken's basement!"
