At this point, Democrats should be relieved that current U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland was never confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court -- where he would have had a lifetime appointment as a worthless, pandering, Republican-appeasing asswipe -- but rather as just Attorney General, where he can at least be fired.
