Chronicles of Twatrick: "Advice I should have taken" edition.

This would be Patrick "Outlaw Debtor" Ross who, given five full months to file a Statement of Defense and failing to do so, will now lecture others on (you guessed it) the importance of filing a Statement of Defense:

You couldn't make this stuff up.

BY THE WAY, does Patrick have any idea how much trouble he's in due to filing a lawsuit giving his address for service as his parents' residence in Lloydminster while he is away working in Northern Alberta and is therefore unavailable to accept service at the very address he listed for service in his filing?

Does he have no clue as to how this sort of childish game-playing is going to piss off the judge?

I suspect he's about to find out.

Wild speculation here, but I imagine the extent of the judge's expression of being pissed off will be in a few snarky comments about not following proper process in the decision to dismiss the suit entirely, which will go sailing over Patrick's loftiest intellectual musings.

He's playing pigeon chess at best, grade school taunting is more like it.

Why does Twatsy demand that others retain counsel, even though the Twatster always represents himself in court (with hilarious and disastrous consequences)?

After explaining the history of Patrick and I to the clerk at Queen’s Bench and looking up the legal documents from his past (unsuccessful actions), the clerk said without question Patrick lands in the area of "Legal abuse". Ex-spouses use legal abuse to drain the resources of the other party so they can no longer continue to fight or a corporation doing it to an individual. It's also used by harassers to continue to harass their victims forcing them to engage. It's one of the primary reasons people are found to be vexatious litigants. Remember, he started again because I laughed at the video of Tyler beating the piss out of him. Then came the harassment, accusations of "sending proxies" to fight him and do my bidding. This of course is nothing but negative attention for him, because he knows this lawsuit isn't going anywhere. His calls to talk to lawyers for settlement offers is just more self-aggrandizing to make himself look far more important than he really is.

Here’s his pattern of “Legal Abuse”:

Lawsuit 1:
Lives in Lloydminster
Filed in North Battleford
I live in Edmonton

Lawsuit died because I filed a motion to dismiss after being ordered to mediation and I told them if I was forced to sit across from him in a room, I’d beat the shit out of him. It was not, as Patrick likes to tell, that he moved on for a career. What career? Oh, and the motion to dismiss? It was based on his inability to file a lawsuit based on his bankruptcy status. He walked away.

2. Restraining order:
Lives in Lloydminster
Filed in St. Paul, Alberta
I live in Edmonton

Whole reason for the action was to stop me from finding him at CFL events in Edmonton so I could challenge him to call me a pedophile to my face. Since he was so bold to do it online, I wanted to see if he had the balls to do it in person. He ran to get protection, so I got my answer. He even cried to Commonwealth Stadium to see if they were going to stop me from “accosting him in public”.

3. Lawsuit 2:
Lives in Lloydminster
Filed in Grande Prairie but wants documents served in Lloydminster
Again, I live in Edmonton.

As you can see, he has a pattern of going out of his way to make me waste time and resources when he could have filed at local centers to him.

Due to COVID, he could have filed in Edmonton, or I don’t know, the city in which he lives. Instead, he filed where he’s working and living which is fine, but wanted documents served at a location he can’t be readily available to receive them. BIG no-no. The clerk has no doubt this was done to hide his location from Robert and the Saskatchewan Sheriffs looking to take all his worldly trash, I mean possessions. Thankfully, via Robert’s lawsuit and Patrick’s resulting bankruptcy, Patrick has shown all his little tricks for delays and flat out lying about not being served this or that. Justices have gone further to say Patrick’s motions were terrible and his conduct was reprehensible, further proving his reputation is incredibly poor.
This is Patrick's way of further harassing people who have stopped interacting with him and refuse to engage. Even clerks laughed at this suit because he has no value due to his bankruptcy and his online antics have rendered his reputation as nil. Oh, and then there comes the $1 million in damages. Making me travel, wasting time and money.

He knows I don't give a rat’s ass what he says because I'm not going to waste 10 years going after him like Robert's unfortunately had to. This is his way of staying engaged with someone he harasses.

Of course, I was nice enough to put all this in my motions and statement of defense. If he isn't concerned about the lack of a counterclaim, Patrick is worse off than I thought.

RogueNerdOne: That's a good point about filing in Grande Prairie, but demanding service in a place (Lloydminster) where he isn't easily found.

Legal abuse is a very appropriate term for Patrick Ross.

My history of trying to serve Patrick at his Lloydminster address some years ago is moderately entertaining.

First, on more than one occasion, the process server reported that, while no one answered the door when he came calling, he could clearly see someone peeking out from behind the living room curtains.

On another more interesting occasion, Patrick's father literally threatened the server and chased him off the property, screaming at him that he was doing the work of Satan.

Finally, at one point, Patrick's parents assured the server that Patrick had moved out and they had no idea where he was living; this despite the fact that his pickup truck was sitting in the driveway at the time.

It's always something with that guy.

Cynic: THAT IS HILARIOUS!

Next process server you send to Ken Ross's house in Lloydminster, you should have dress up in a devil costume.

Man I think I'd call up the Hell's Angels or some sort of organized crime person to go visit Patrick Ross at that point.

If Ken Ross wants to see the devil, well the HA is pretty damn close. ;)
