A little naked politics with your morning coffee?
In order to avoid further damage to Tory fortunes in the province of Quebec, Bernier must be replaced with another Quebecer.
Quite frankly, it’s the right thing to do. Now I know there have been others out there who have suggested that this portfolio should go to Jason Kenney, and as deserving as he may be, it is not the right move for the Conservatives, or for Canada.
Quite right, RTT -- the right move for Canada would be to find another irresponsible retard from Quebec who fucks biker chicks and leaves classified documents behind, because that kind of selection would benefit Stephen Harper and his gang of wingnuts.
The Conservative Party: Getting a politically-motivated boner for Canada.
Hey! We're talking politics here, not ethics or wisdom.
And cool! My verification code to enter this comment is 'eczema'. Kinda appropriate considering who were discussing, wouldn't you say
Isn't ty-guy a Qubekker?
Quebec Conservatives are much more interesting than say, Alberta Conservatives. (No less stupid -- just more interesting.) Where else would you find biker babes, classified documents and sharp dressers? Let's face it -- outside of Quebec these guys are terminally dull.
"to avoid further damage to the tory image in quebec...."
I say put in Jason Kenney!! I can't think of anyone more deserving of having a shot at proving MORE incompetent at the job. He's a close personal friend to Quebec's ambitions and social views and all.the.not.US.countries? He luuurves him some a them, so long as the US likes them.
Or Baird! He could give the American Bolton a run for his money on how to present a diplomatic front to the world! I can hardly wait for talk from Canada on how the UN should be shut down.
Oh, I know the answer to this one.
Easy solution for Big Daddy if he wants to go RTT's route. Just appoint another unelected, unaccountable Senator from Quebec. Assuming there is an empty Quebec seat waiting to be filled.
But, really. The Conservatives ranks in Quebec are pretty thin. In numbers, intellect, and competence.
