Because I decided, around age 35 (when something started to happen to music) that I wouldn't slip into the old-fartism my parents manifested by being judgmental and dismissive about all music after 1969, I will say nothing.
Ah, the Granny Awards. The annual celebration of tired, predictable pap music. It makes me proud to not have a clue who most of the nominees are. Somebody at work mentioned Akon to me and I asked who the hell is Acorn. Shame that someone as brilliant and talented as Leslie Feist has to be nominated for the least interesting work of her career. Oh well. Not like I'll be watching or checking the results. Filed under whatever, zero relevance to life as we know it.

Actually, The Acorn is kinda interesting... as much as any band from Ottawa could be...
